Raichiyo, sorry to have caused disruption on your gorgeous image. Again, thanks. Joshua, freelancers are professionals. If you don't like the way one tool is sold, you can choose a different one, but even paper and pencils will cost a little money. Service subscriptions are a perfectly valid software model and people just like you worked hard for years to make those valuable products. Keep at it and you'll find a way to legitimately get the tools you need for your art.

It's scummy to charge 750 bucks for an item OR force you to pay monthly 13 dollars when your product mostly goes toward people who are often poor and barely make ends meet. "Pros" don't even buy the software, a Corporation buys it for them and then they use it. It's not "What freelancers" do.
Mike
It's not scummy. It's a choice.

Yes, because the company that forces you to pay 700 dollars for a program or force you into a "Service' for it and totally disregards its user base in its choices and decisions is totally an up and up thing and not scummy what so ever.
Mike
Thank you for paying for software. It's what pros do.

CSP is better artwise but photoshop is better at editing and color edits. In the end I just have much more experience with photoshop but i could try out the CSP a bit more

Have you considered Clip Studio Paint? I think it's superior to Photoshop, at least art-wise, and it's a one time purchase.

Hopefully nothing ridiculously expensive. As always, amazing work!
Raichiyo
just some parts
Diego Poveda
Wow, we talking complete PC upgrade or just some parts?
Raichiyo
slower....seems i have to upgrade my pc to fully take advantage

How’s it feel to use the new CS?
Fiber
Oh yeah if you . . . pay for it.
Raichiyo
Mostly money, couldnt afford the 13$ a month or the 750$

Seems like Adobe got Photoshop right long ago if you never felt the need for anything more, but what kept you from updating?
