New Card & Keyword Sneak Peek - Part 2!

These cards have a very special quality - the effect gets updated each time the card is played during the match! As with Trigger, this ability takes advantage of our new method of coloring the text based on active effect.
This has been a very interesting effect to implement, and we're already seeing many different future applications for it!
Notably, the Repeat effect activates whenever any player plays a card by the same name, which makes it more likely for higher Repeat levels to activate during a game. The Repeat count is permanent for the whole game, so when you draw a new copy of the card, it will instantly be at the higher Repeat level.
Given the global activation, a particular focus in balancing Repeat cards is to make sure they are sufficiently good to play even at the base level, and we'll be keeping a close eye on them even after release.
Part of the consideration was to make the Repeat counter personal to each player, but in the end we decided to keep it global because the odds to draw several of the same card for Repeat activations are very low (as well as other downsides such as making a lot of trouble for Co-op dealers).

I'm liking these upgradable cards! I would definitely say that having the repeat counter global is the way to go so it's more likely to happen.
