Lick Of The Day #2 - Neoclassical Sweeping

This is a small cadence, we play an A minor and E minor arpeggio here - that's a quite classic one for this genre and you can use it from now on to get this sound in all kinds of different keys.
Watch out to the special connenction of these 2 arpeggios with slides! This is a very cool trick to combine different arpeggios that are not exactly connected or just far away from each other. By incorporating a slide you don't miss any notes and it sounds very fluid when you play it fast. Start slow and focus on playing in time! I always practice licks like this one to a metronome.

I think there is a mistake on the ejercices. on the sheet, in the first compás, thirst part there is a g# note and on the 4th part there is a g. i think this moves the Emajor to E minor, that sounds strange. it is posible that g must be a g#?? so the slide comes from freet 6 to 9, not from 5. i must know if this is a mistake or what becasue it crushes all my understanding. sorry my english. On the sheet, i see a anoying thing that breaks my understanding: In the first compás, on the 3st part, wich is E armony, i see a note g# that is E major, and in the 4th part there is the G, that makes the armnoy minor. is this a mistake? will sound better starting the slide in the fret 6? thnxs

just signed up today and this one has already been a great exercise to work on. Only at 85% speed but a real eye opener to keep practicing to play arpeggios better!

While playing, I've been doing a slide from 10 to 5 as well, it's easier to start the second arpeggio on the 4th fret.
Hi there, I've noticed that in tab the first slide is from 10 to 7, but in the video you did a slide from 10 to 5 with your middle finger. that's why I cannot find my left hand in right position when I slide from 10 to 7.
