I use an Eleven rack (quite cheap sounds great) as a sound card via usb and record in ableton live as DAW.

I used a Kemper profiler and just went straight into my Scarlett 2i2 USB interface :)

What key is this in all the parts are in the same key I guess ? Can transpose it into a different key. I guess the idea is for us to recreate this using recording software. Great track thanks

Hey Bernth, awesome video. How were you actually routing your guitar signal? Through an amp with a cab sim and direct out, or were you using any amp/cab sim plugins in your DAW?

Exactly what Paul said, thats what I do too. I also have Amplitube 4 with the Orange & Joe Satriani's packages.

I maybe started the home recording like a year ago and boy is it a game changer. Buy the scarlet 2i2 interface. Super easy to use. look on amazon and you can prob by it in a pack with a couple cables and mics etc. My only piece of advice is invest in a DAW that doesn't come with it. I didn't feel ableton lite or pro tools (first) were that great. You can get a licence for reaper for 60 bucks or do what i did and signed up for regular protools. i absolutley love it and its changed my writing process for the better. Also bought the andy james guitar plugins and the GGD invasion kit(the one Benth is using in the video)

That was amazing in a short space of time, just wish I knew how to connect my guitar to the computer, I am not tech savvy. what do most basic players use as a connection to their computer?????

I hate you ;). I say that with the utmost jealousy. You created something cool in such a short amount of time! I guess my biggest problem is programming the drums (And sucking at guitar and timing). I too have ggd invasion along with other packs complimenting it along with a midi controller. I'd like to see content like this more often as you can explain and put, basically, several of your lessons to work. Did you use a midi controller or just your actual keyboard to program the drums. Might sound a bit silly to ask but any tips in the area of drum programming. Thank for your video. Since I discovered your lessons you've been a massive inspiration to actively practice my guitar skills. \m/
