Yeah, this episode was dope. Honestly, outside of some 90's corniness and some weird time skips (like y'all already mentioned), this whole thing is really good. Simon and co are so good at capturing the little things that make the street life feel so real in this and the Wire. Sopranos is the same way really, with the Mafia life. Watching this for the first time, it's crazy they didn't carry any of the characters over for a Bmore extended universe. I know there's a lot of the same actors, but imagine Bubbles meeting up with the characters from this show, lol, or Barksdales running the boys off the corner. They did cast the real Deandre as Mouzone's bodyguard in the Wire, though.

Well thn... Fran married Omar aftr Dre OD'd in like 2009. They passed a yr apart during covid. Kurt died b4 the show aired. Blue & the pastor on The Wire r good they're n a lot of bmore docs discussing life & hood fab ppl like themselves pre crack.
