I went back and decided to binge watch this along with y’all and wow this series is crazy. I actually have an uncle who used to be an addict and he lives alone and suffers from dementia and he watches the corner literally every single day. Whenever I was at his house it was one of the episodes on YouTube playing over and over. I always wondered why it was that specific show but after watching it, maybe he related to it.

Fran died too, unfortunately. She was out in the County, living right when she did though, so she never went back at least. Deandre overdosed a while back unfortunately. Lots of the real people from the Wire/Corner are gone unfortunately. Real Omar and real Avon are dead, Fran and Deandre. It's a shame.
