🕑 Added 2025-06-06 18:40:56 +0000 UTC{Public post}
Aloha, Patrons!
Whenever I see my niece and nephews, they have a new song that they can't stop singing, and "Pink Pony Club" is so catchy and fun, I hear it everywhere now. I think they sound amazing on this song (clearly they got the family performing genes ๐), so click through and enjoy, and be sure to leave them some love in the YouTube comments! Know someone who loves this song? Please share with them!
Watch "Pink Pony Club": https://youtu.be/IRgzdRD8uN0
Please click through to YouTube and watch, hit the ๐๐ฝ, leave a comment, and share. Your support makes a difference and encourages YouTube to share my videos to more people. Thank you!
Download the free Chord Chart and play along!
This chord chart is free to all, thanks to the support of all my wonderful Patrons! See the bottom of this post for the pdf. (If you can't see the pdf, try a different browser or a different device. If you click on it and can't find it, check your desktop or downloads folder.)
If you're not yet a Patreon Patron, consider joining us! I have maintained a $1 pay-what-you-can community tier because I want to keep my lessons accessible. All Patrons (pay what you can, $1+) have access to a deep archive of Patron-only monthly live lessons going back to 2017, and whenever I release a video, I make the chord chart available to the public on a donation basis / pay-what-you-can. I also have plenty of free resources on my YouTube and at ukulele101.com.
You can always join Patreon for free to get public updates like this one, and then upgrade later when you're ready. ๐
NEW: Buy the Full Lesson for "Pink Pony Club"
I taught the full lesson for "Pink Pony Club" in our May 2025 Mindful Beginner Jam. I think it's a great lesson for beginners because we play this song in an easier key (F) than the original (F#). We also repeat the same four-chord progression, which is better for learning chords and chord transitions, and one of the chords is the dreaded Bb, which becomes much less scary after you practice with this song. ๐ช๐ฝ
Recently, Patreon added a new option to buy a single post only, so now we have a couple of ways to access this lesson.
Buy the Single Lesson: If you're not sure yet about becoming a $10+ Patron, you can purchase access to the individual lesson post. You'll get a beginner-friendly, in-depth tutorial on this song, moving mindfully through the chord transitions and the chucking island strum. The post also comes with our 50-song Beginner Jam Songbook.
Join Patreon for Archive + Live Lesson Access: All $10+ Patrons have access to this lesson, as well as this month's upcoming Live Lesson and Mindful Beginner Jam, plus the archives of all our monthly Live Lessons and Mindful Beginner Jams (hundreds of lessons!). You can also try out the $10 tier for a month, explore the content, and then change your tier at the end of the month. Come check it out!
Patrons, see you on Thursday June 12th at 2:30pm Hawaii Time for this month's Mindful Beginner Jam, and on Thursday June 19th at 2:30pm Hawaii Time for this month's All -Levels Live Lesson. We'll also have a Zoom Social starting 30 minutes before the Live Lesson, where Patrons get a chance to meet and chat in smaller groups. See our full monthly calendar here.
Hope to see you there! You can edit your subscription tier here if you'd like to upgrade your tier (and you can always change it back as well!).
