If you missed it, be sure to check out my October post. I released Tales from the Creep, our Shrek-themed horror anthology film. It's a 30 minute masterpiece of madness with an hour long behind-the-scenes feature, basically a feature length 3GI movie. It even has digital downloads that include scripts, notes, sketches, the entire soundtrack, and a printable interactive card game. A lot of blood, sweat, and oniony tears went into this video and I'm beyond proud of it. Don't miss out on this fun, nostalgic dive into 3GI’s history!
Also, my September post included some important news on Shrek 2 Retold. We’re pushing forward despite a bit of a delay, but we’re making great progress. I included a 2 hour long behind-the-scenes video so you can see EXACTLY what we're still working on and all the hard work that’s going into it. If you are at all interested in our upcoming mega-collab, definitely take a look!
Shrek 2 Retold Update!
As for Shrek 2 Retold, we’re still hard at work! This thing is shaping up to be incredible, and it’s all thanks to your support. We’ve got a ton of talented artists contributing their work, and I’m so excited to show you more soon. While we’re still looking at an early 2025 release, we’re on track to make it worth the wait.

I vote for the 'take a couple days off' option easy for me to say and hard for you to do esp. when a projects in that nearly nearly stage but yeah idk resting is pretty cool imo

A game-jam is an event where a bunch of game developers each start working on a new game from scratch. They're typically given a theme for the game and have a strict deadline to complete it by. Once the deadline is reached they all submit their games and everyone gets to see how their fellow game devs interpreted the theme! Here's an example: https://itch.io/jam/cozy-fall-jam-2024

I love behind-the-scenes content! Especially when you delve into the methodology and process of creating your projects. More patron/fan collaborations, like my favorite part of the last smash video was seeing everyone commentate on the fight! I think 3GI is so uniquely positioned to be a choreographer of creatives, I can't think of anyone else that has the kind of following to make the kind of projects that you do. I think after the craziness of S2R production it would be really cathartic for the community to be involved in much more short-form, quick-turn-around type projects. Like a game-jam, but for the type of content that 3GI is so good at developing :]

This is awesome! I loved the Halloween film you guys put out. I think allowing patrons to help add to your projects would help them really feel like they’re contributing to a community. The quior segment was a fun activity and it all helped create something for the 3gi that we love! Thats just what I think tho I’m sure more behind the scenes stuff will be great too 😎👍
