Was thinking ‘misty’ and slightly whimsical

Hildegard von Blingin'

Thanks so much! I loved making that one. It's such a pretty song...and sort of "sparkly" if that makes sense at all.

Ruth Haan

My favorite cover of songs you did so far was “Willow” by Taylor Swift. Your version of the lyrics suits the tune.

Gabriel Olearnik

This is the best birthday present ever.

Hildegard von Blingin'

Oh I'm a big fan of Erutan! Thank you!

Hildegard von Blingin'

Thanks Nicholas! Yes I think a good chunk of my listeners are D&D players, and many have expressed interest in music without vocals for use at the table. :)

Filobótica

I'm so so happy!

William

I originally found your page on youtube through another artist named Erutan. Iv been a fan ever since. You have the voice of an angel. Keep singing!

Nicholas Tobiczyk

Happy to finally be able to directly support a great music channel! Especially very excited to see you may be releasing instrumental and ambient downloads here too! Don't get me wrong, the singing is AMAZING, but excited to put some of those instrumental pieces in my dnd and fantasy playlists.

Yådōté

I really want as many formats as possible to imbibe your voice~

Hildegard von Blingin'

I mostly keep my other stuff separate, but might share a little bit more on here. For the most part my videos feature public domain historical art, but I do enjoy working in that style too.

Hildegard von Blingin'

I'll note that down, thank you!

Hildegard von Blingin'

Oh man that image is too good. Thank you both! :P

Hildegard von Blingin'

Thanks so much Elizabeth!

Yådōté

Much adoration for your art. Curious if you have original works also?

Cait Sinclair

I've never been more excited to give someone my money.

Elisha

This was great, when I saw you had a patreon I’ve never signed up so fast!!! Keep up the amazing work and I can’t wait to see what else we’ll see from you

Lady Epi

I signed up so fast!

Hildegard von Blingin'

Thank you! Yeah I fully admit to joining the ouroboros of people writing medieval inspired music that takes inspiration from other people writing neomedieval-ish music. :P And wow, thank you, that is such high praise. Voces8 is definitely a fav of mine, particularly because of them.

Mikael S.

What a great BTS video! Awesome to see how you've taken inspiration not just from early music in the strictest sense but also neomedieval scoring for film, games, and television. And I just adore the straight-tone singing in Creep. Your voice often reminds me of Julianne Baird and Andrea Haines from Voces8. :)

Corrine Giordani

Love the artwork with every video as well, could you make a video on the art too?

Elizabeth Urbach

So glad you are on Patreon! Your music is what I wanted "modern medieval music" to be for years (as opposed to the stuff that's usually used for medieval movies scores and after-hours concerts at Renaissance Faires)!

Susan E. Fisher

Thrilled you are here! love your work!

Jackie Faye

Loreena McKennitt is the OG bardcore, ngl

Hildegard von Blingin'

Thank you for your loyalty, lol, I know it took me a while!

Kyle van Tol

3 years ago I said I would support you as soon as you got a patreon account, time to follow that through ;)

Lukaluke

Here we gooooo!

Sam A.

I chest-shouted when I saw the link

Coskii Polk

I've been waiting to for a link to a purchasable album for the longest time, but this is also good!

Jackson Bross

This might be the hardest I've ever windmill slammed a patreon link.

Marquise Ondore

Finally, a way to monetarily support you!!!

Hildegard von Blingin'

Thank you! I had to work up the nerve to do this, but I'm excited about some of the stuff I've got planned here. :) (Love your avatar by the way!)

Hildegard von Blingin'

Thank you, either place works, but I'm more likely to see comments here. I'll keep that in mind! And I have a video planned just to talk about the lyric process. :)

Mr. Pendulum

You finally did it!!! I can't wait to see what you share with us here. Just remember to have fun and we'll love what you share.

Hildegard von Blingin'

Nice to have you here, Ashley!

Ashley J. Williams

Glad to be here, Hilde!

Totoro (Hans)

Not sure if you wanted comments here or on YouTube.... Duplicated from YT: One of my favourite covers of yours is Summertime Sadness, would love to know more about that. Also how you go about reinterpreting the lyrics.
