GEV 108: An Illusory Qlipoth, Implanting Potential Seeds
🕑 Added 2024-02-20 18:46:21 +0000 UTCEver since Zhao Wei got the [God Eye Variant] as a transmigration perk from the virtually omnipotent entity, he had already factored in various possibilities.
The miraculous ability to extract different eye abilities from realities in the Omniverse was truly great but it had its own limitations.
It somehow limited one's ability to think outside the box or be ingenious since it was free and hardly deserved.
Zhao Wei understood he didn't deserve to get the [God Eye Variant] but he was grateful for his luck for things to have gone the way he had wanted.
The thought of the mysterious cat, who had transmigrated him, taking away the perk or pulling a fast one on him, had been shelved deep within his mind.
It was a power with no consequence so why shouldn't there be some fuck ups along the way?!
“I am basically left with the first eye template reminiscent of the Hyuga Clan's Byakugan.” Zhao Wei reminded himself.
“Hehe, interesting. It seems I have been underestimating the «Primordial Stellar Energy Body Refining Arts».”
Zhao Wei assumed a cross-legged posture. A serious expression adorned his face and an air of diligence and determination encapsulated his form.
Zhao Wei felt he had been too relaxed for quite some time. Relaxing once in a while wasn't bad but being lax for so long was bad for his overall mindset.
He had been too full of himself, thinking that everything would naturally fall in line as it was supposed to be. And that was essentially being foolish and overly arrogant.
It was understandable since he was already only human after all.
Zhao Wei acknowledged his own mistakes and he felt that he wasn't working hard enough.
There was so much that he still didn't understand.
“I should cement the foundation I have gained. I don't want to be just a ripple in the waters of a lake. I want to shake the lake for an eternity. Space and time as absolute as they may be, I want to share their joys of absoluteness.”
Zhao Wei closed his eyes and concentrated his mind on his Dantian region.
It was now that he was noticing that it looked like a tiny pocket dimension and unsurprisingly, the notion itself felt like an overestimation to him.
Even though his Dantian wasn't like an independent pocket reality, the probability of it becoming one in the future was possible.
'This is my Dantian, unbreakable like my will and ambitions.’ Zhao Wei soliloquized as he intensely studied the elemental essences: from the five elements to the special paths like shadow and Illusion.
They were in a state of disharmony as they were structurally different.
The congealed essences were merely seeds and Zhao Wei just had the task to nurture these seeds into something much more.
But something that stood out in his Dantian, was the magnificent and blazing Primordial Stellar Intent, an embryonic crystallization of Zhao Wei's comprehension of his own body cultivation technique.
Even though Zhao Wei had never seen someone or something with intent, he subconsciously knew the answer about what was happening due to the natural suppression the Primordial Stellar Intent was emitting.
The runic character representing his physique refinement path seemed to have evolved and opened the door leading to the realm of intents and wills.
‘I don't know what level of power my body can erupt with at the moment. I have this weird feeling that I could easily take on anyone at the sixth sky of Ascended Realm and below without feeling pressure.’ Zhao Wei had a light frown on his face and since he hadn't fought with anyone for quite some time, guesses would just remain as guesses.
Also just to test his theory, he couldn't go around asking random people to fight him.
'Now then…’ With a thought, Zhao Wei used his powerful mind to form an illusory tree that looked the inverse to the tree of life - Qlipoth.
A cultivator's mind was their most powerful weapon during their fate-destroying journey.
The will to live longer. The will to protect their loved ones. The will to grow stronger.
They had the power to shape reality at the subconscious level. Just take for example how Zhao Wei was creating an illusory tree that wasn't supposed to exist in this reality. That was the power of imagination and will.
Due to his current low-level power and little understanding, Zhao Wei could only, utmost, create Illusory creations. He had reached a level where he could turn unreality into reality.
After the tree had dug its extensive roots at the floor of the Dantian, Zhao Wei meticulously guided the seeds(elemental essences) to the branches of the tree.
The five elements were at the heart of the tree, interconnected through a runic circle.
The seed of Primordial Stellar Intent was at the uppermost branch like an emperor overseeing the masses.
The special path seeds like Shadow and Illusion were slightly above the five elements.
“There is no strongest path, only the strongest martial cultivator. The goal of a cultivator wanting to comprehend the Great Dao is to treat all paths equally without bias.”
Zhao Wei's understanding of his own meaning continued to deepen and he could already visualize a section of the ultimate path he was going to follow.
“With the potential I possess, it would be wise to implant as many seeds as I can onto these branches.” Zhao Wei had a shadowy smile on his mouth as he muttered to himself.
Hours passed and Zhao Wei used that time to increase his inner strength through meditation. To maximize the efficiency of his cultivation, Zhao Wei divided his mind into two or simply used parallel processing.
On one side, he concentrated on his inner strength cultivation, on the other side, he scoured his mind for any information related to the basics of alchemy. He intended to consolidate his knowledge about plants, medical arts, and alchemy in general.
He had a plan in mind that would enable him to be easily inducted into the Grass-Wood Division and his master, Hai Yun, was the key.
Connections were very important.
Just like that, Zhao Wei used the whole night to cultivate without rest and the next morning, he decided to look for Master Hai Yun.
Zhao Wei hoped his persuasion skills and sweet tongue would force Hai Yun to do his bidding.
He was the devil and the devil can never be denied.
