Honestly, I feel so lost. I have a path I want to take, but I don't know how to get there. Have you ever experienced that? Having a goal but feeling blocked, like there's an unknown obstacle. I have so many things I want to do ( mostly about arts & stuff ) but it feels like there's always something hindering me.
So I've thought about resigning from my first job! ( T w T ) but I'm scared because I might lose income again, also I want to take the risk with my passion, even though I know I won't earn as much as an artist but.. dang
I want to try something new! I want to do something new!
I promised myself that in 2024, I won't be afraid to try things I want and haven't done yet. but yeah It's easy to say, but it's effing hard to do. It's challenging to leave my job because it's my first job, and my boss is so kind. But, well, I need to leave to grow, to move forward. I know my boss understands that. So now, it's a relief that my thoughts have lessened day and night.
I've submitted my resignation letter to my boss and now I have two weeks left to finish our contract and officially leave my job. I do like my work, but I feel like there's something else I want to do: pursue art. I've learned a lot from my job and my boss, and I'm sure I can apply it to my career. I've been drained because, for almost a month, I've been contemplating whether to leave a job I like but is not my dream. I like my work because of the learning opportunities However, I'm losing time for what I really love (art) because, after work, I'm too tired to use the computer. Because I've been working 10-15 hours due to overtime. I reached a point where I was happy with my job, but I'm not happy that I feel limited in doing what I want.
So, I made this wallpaper to remind you guys that it's okay to feel lost sometimes, it's okay to be afraid. But it's even better if you feel lost but aren't afraid because you know within yourself that you'll find a way to get to where you want to go. It means just trust yourself that no matter what happens, everything will be okay in the end.
