Art Poll - Enuryn
🕑 Added 2019-04-27 23:25:00 +0000 UTCHeeeeey. It's me. Back at you again with a poll! An art poll this time!
...In between writing chapters, side stories, and managing other TWI-related stuff (it's a full-time job, and I haven't even gotten to the typos!), I've been doing commissions. Some are in the works still, but I reached out to one artist, Enuryn, who did the 3-piece Antinium set and he and I have worked out something special for this round of commissions.
I'll be paying him to draw 4 sheets, one of flora, one of fauna, and one of architecture. The fourth will be a wildcard, but the content of the sheets will be decided by this poll.
So, when you vote, vote for your favorites in each category! I'll take the top pick in each category, plus the next highest-voted thing. If that's confusing, just vote for what you want and it will appear...sometime! Enuryn has a life, but I'll be working with him on the character sheets and you'll see them as they come out. If you all really like them, we might make this a regular commission for Enuryn, or have other artists do their take as well! This is a first experiment. So vote well!
(No spoilers for this poll. Even I don't know what they'll look like. I'm a [Writer], not an [Artist].)
Architecture - Wistram, the Isle of Mages
The 4th Wall of Rhir
Magnolia's Gardens
Fauna - Corusdeer
Shield Spiders
Rock Crabs
Flesh Worms/Skinner
Ashfire Bees
Raskghar
Flora:
The Blood Fields
Blue Fruit Trees
Faerie Flowers
Magic Gemstones
PS: I know there's a lot of other great options. I'll take suggestions for the next poll if we get to that point. These are all options Enuryn and I are okay with doing, him artistically, me in terms of representing them. Options like Crelers may come along later for instance...if we ever meet an adult, for instance. Although a sheet full of baby Creler is bad enough.

I wanted to see what drake and gnoll kids look like. I had the image of a bunch of them sitting in the inn watching Frozen while eating milkshakes and hamburgers.

A bit sad the Rock Crabs and the Blue Fruit Trees aren't getting support. Those are the OGs

For the wildcard category, could you shift that to races? After the recent chapters, I think many of us are curious as to what exactly the dullahans look like.

I just imagine them as giant hermit crabs with rocks on their backs, so don't see the appeal in getting artwork to show what they look like.

I think the blue fruit is a summer fruit. Time has passed really slowly in innworld and it's still been less than a year since Erin arrived. I think she got there in the summer.

If you get Apista in the flowers, that's a two-for-one, and you can get something else as well. π

I think the blue fruit trees are something that's been missing for a while actually in the book. Shouldn't they be bearing fruit soon?
I would've thought that Rock Crabs had some popularity, those funky dudes are so classic....
Rip Woodham
More than anything I'd like to see character portraits, race profiles, etc.

Damn, I really wanted to see Lizard People and their Variant (Evolutions?) as character piece(s)...still, its hard not to just mash a vote on everything. They're all so enticing to see drawn argh!

I don't know what to vote, because I really feel like artist talents and styles are in different places.... I would love to see this artist draw character profiles, flora.... but the good horror stuff like rock crabs and shield spiders that will probably get the vote? Dunno....

people want to see a planter with yellow flowers in it more than they do a field of blood-drinking fauna or trees that are literally indestructible :thonk:
we need mrsha vs. crelers :)
no crelers feelsbadman
I don't know, I want to see Wistram but it hasn't made an much of a connection I guess.
