I would love it so much if the noir one is relc starting as a guardsman in his new city and deciding to become a detective and investigate an elaborate murder while dragging around a more senior partner who is afraid to piss off the spear master so he just follows him around reluctantly and complains while relc causes hijinks solving the mystery

I definitely want horror. But the uplifting slice of life is what got me hooked on twi. And tbh the world (and me) need it right now.

I feel more that a bit conflicted about the Paradigm shift option. I don't need something earth shattering. I need something happy and light. I feel as though it's a bit early to give a BIG twist or something. I've always felt that the secrets of the book are meant to be slowly revealed.
