I think it might be better to conclude the current arc before showing another story line. Otherwise we readers might not be able to enjoy a great chapter because our minds are still pondering wether it is war or not.

Oooh. This is a fair question to put to us. Personally, the side stories are occasionally nice, like spices can bring out or add to foods flavors, but it can be frustrating when they interfere with the main stories pacing. In the future, would it be possible to switch the orders instead? Or is this poll because the writing-reading balance is a little precarious? Writing several doozies in a row must take a toll.
