So if the grand designs can copy themself, then I think there going to copy them self and then keeps all the worlds going just closing the door much like the king, so the doors are close everyone keeps there levels but no one is allowed to cross over permanently

If anything i imagine a total reset on the rules where as to those who already have passed the levels will keep them. For Example: Goblins and Antiniam wouldn’t need to build a tower. And in turn those who haven’t made the tower because its was a “Tall” order could now effectively gain classes for their race.

oh and i like ilioniger chapters. I feel like we cover more things, more of the picture ends up in my head. shorter ones are ok, but i love diving in for an hour+ reading nice and slow on a big chunk of chaotic wonder.

i think either the system is gonna crash and no more levels, or all the creatures who passed the trial will get theres, we're still not sure why none of them seem to remember they had them to begin with.

How hilarious would it be that the Crelers' failed the trials because their tower was peed on within the system. And honestly, I fully believe Oberon has control over the flowers. It is his magic and his domain. I think he's been long at work, manipulating the events of the world. He is the best known fate seeer, there is no way he wouldn't have an inkling about this.

I don't think the leveling system will be destroyed. Changed in some way for sure but not destroyed. There is still the seamwalkers threat that will always exist and the system has changed considerably since the god war. It's not just a system but an actual personality. And we've seen it grow since the story started. And those fake flowers becoming real has to do with main GD correcting what GD2 couldn't process like Ryoko and the flowers.

IF this does happen I do wonder… if Redscars Pee would effect the Creliers level system… (also do note Oberon has no CONTROL over the roots and will forever more grow like weeds in Avalon he is just laughing at the Chaos and Chance.) :D you know i have a feeling Mrsha gained those levels due to Fairy Magic so who knows how far he pushed. I have a feeling the Magic in question came from Royka’s Fairy Pact since this is when it touched Mrsha too. It may have clinged onto her name hidden like it did to ‘Ryoko’.

I think the whole leveling system will be deleted (to prevent the infection from spreading) or rewritten by the flowers themselves. I have a theory that since Pawn and “Happy days crew” noticed fake ordinary flowers seem to be “special”. I feel like these flowers will Implode on to the heart root which is located in the System of Levels and bloom which may or may not grant levels to those who tried. (And this may all happen right after they cut off the simulations and unknowingly bringing the “fake flowers” in. OR from the very heart root itself more would soon grow out onto the floor.)

Loved the chapter and the send off to Halrac, made me tear up. Also, is there now a faerie flower root inside of the Grand Design? I don't trust Oberon so I'm a little nervous. Or is it a way that one of the 6 can use to get in, that would be an endgame scenario. I don't even see a way out if that ends up being the case

I try to ration the chapters by converting them to audio (using Azure Voices ) and then listen only when I am ready to go to bed. That helps me manage my WI addiction until the following Week (or 2 or 3).

Redscar won through a combination of factors. (1) At Lv 49, he is at a higher lv than most participants. (2) The no killing policy and the fact that he was willing to take grievous injuries to win unlike most participants (3) He was shielded from directly fighting back to back by the goblins. (4) In the original tournament, Klb’s rampage started when the Antinium were attacked by Pallas and he found his love for the sword again after fighting Zeladona. In this Tournament, he is still lamenting his lost power and glory, so that makes him weaker. (5) Redscar didn’t the fight with Eldavin through pure martial prowess. Eldavin appears to have psyched himself out after using greater appraisal.

There’s a reason I read your stuff and while I can’t pin it down, it’s definitely not word length. The banging: Do remember Redscar mentioned in the chapter he is only some 8 years old and with Goblins seemingly having a very, very early puberty, what with them having to have or to otherwise go extinct, he either is at the beginning of this, or he already is at the same kind of point (some) woman and man reach that we think of as "the biological clock ringing the alarm".

I guess when he faced off against Eldavin was tropey cuz the simalcraum of old teri definitely wouldn’t come up with anything new and stay the same but what was tropey about him starting the trial against typhenous and the face . At his levels i thought it made sense that he would waltz though everyone except relc, the perfect drake and eldavin. The named adventure getting beat down was heat.

Hmm, complains about long chapters.. I might have them, but they would be more in the line of "why didn't she cut it into two so we don't get the break weeks?" I much prefer consistency over long chapters

This was fun chapter, a bit like a fanfic thou. Redscar beating everyone even Eldavin was kind of hard to beleive, and then Harlac’s personality change was jarring (though I get it if u don’t have anyone to talk too u will talk alot) it didn’t feel like Harlac but anyone talkative. Why is he trying to bang everyone. While his interest might have been mentioned earlier this feels like it’s too much compared to what we’ve been seeing before? Also banging everyone? Really? Rlly makes it feel like some fanfic chapter Erin wriggling was funny. Great fighting all around.

I like reading what you wrote, so I absolutely love the super long chapters You should like what you write too, and I know that sometimes restrictions spark creativity, so if you like your chapters constrained to “only” twenty-something thousand words then you should do that too.

Oh what an amazing chapter. Thank you Pirate! As to the end note, I read every chapter as it comes up, and I very rarely find or think that there is a pacing issue. Palace isn't my fondest arc, but not because of length or anything like that, and parts of it have been some of the best reading ever. I think overall, it's just preference that it's not quite what I enjoy, but I do not think it's bad by any means. I know for certain that this was an incredible chapter, though. Such amazing use of the Palace. Subtler and less subtle insight into mysteries and characters, and recontextualising past events. Tied up so neatly together. And an excellent payoff. *Level 52*.
