This was a great chapter. This was fun. This was new. We get to see a world, not just a character, of “i accomplished my dream but what cost”, of rags being able to do the philosophy we heard her say so many times and how they would play out. Rather than repeating old scenes. I didn’t comment last chapter where Marsha met Zel cus I was just going through the motions with that chapter and character specifically. While I liked the pawn stuff and the different characters coming through I also think this is becoming too messy. I was tired of the akin to rehashing/ maybe horizontal growth but I do enjoy horizontal stuff I just didn’t with remeeting zel and maybe moving him to a different door. I don’t care the fixation about zel n tkrn in situations we already know them in. we are a gallion words in compared to when we met them and we kind of are rehashing similar information. I do appreciate learning a bit more about zel but i felt it was too much. Same with califor, lets see what happens with how this arc ends but I felt again that was way to long. I get it fits with the story so im fine but as a reader im like eh. I even went back to read chapter 9 instead of this latest chapter. Then I came back to this after a bit. And I’m glad I did. I rlly enjoyed it. Maybe it makes the previous chapters better? Not sure

Well the ‘stronger’ is bit of a misnomer right? Lets say a baker: A level 25 baker that just chills in his hometown baking bread all day, vs a baker that fell into his profession baking for kings and doing baking-contests every day getting to lvl 25 in a year or so, is a less extreme example. Ceria wasn’t doing amazingly as a wizard. Also Mrsha went through an insane amount of things.. but her class is specific to these things surrounding the fates..

I know this arc is great in a lot of ways but the worst part of it is definitely that it distracted us away from the formation of Lyonette's inndom/innpire. Hopefully the marquin scene was setup for Lyonette forming the inndom/innpire soon.

Reminder for those who haven't checked the wiki or re-read in a while. Ceria was sub-level 25 until partway though volume 4. So Mrsha is 'stronger' than ceria was up until that point.
