Be careful with steroidal ear drops, if prescribed. Try using them with good lighting and a mirror? You may not always be able to simply feel the drops landing in your ear and risk squeezing out extra drops. Mild overdoses aren't generally dangerous but feel very weird, with symptoms like hot flashes, so keep an ear drying kit on hand in case they occur.

I always think you should just do writing like 9-5 with lunch breaks. After 5 no more writing. You'd have a better lifestyle and could actually do regular human things, and you'd probably get more done to boot. I say this assuming you're one of those people that write for 16 hours, sleep at 11 in the morning and wake at 6pm

Stop writing! Heal yourself to 100% before continuing. Take a month break if you need it. Heal yourself! Lay off the coffee, let sleep, diet and exercise be your new job for a little while. We love you Pirate, please practice more self care! Take this ear thing as the warning bell it is. Slow down, recuperate, and finish strong. We can wait a month or two.

I’m really glad you are taking your ear infection seriously bc (not to worry you) if left alone it can become something much more serious since it’s so close to the brain but bc you’re on top of things I really don’t think you have to worry about that. It should be for the arc. It'd be weird if we ended the volume without even touching the baleros arc, which we started this volume with. But then again, I don't think we've ever had an epilogue for just an arc before so who knows lol.

Given how finicky these chapters are, I'm surprised you haven't had to do this yet. I'm pretty sure I'll live with a week delay. Even if I am bummed. When I was a kid I dealt with a ton of ear infections, usually a couple a year, and they can be a huge nightmare. I personally swear by those earwax softening drops you can by and a relatively gentle scraper. You don't want anything with too fine an edge since you want a thin coating to be left to prevent infection, but I haven't dealt with an ear infection since I started cleaning mine. It helps a huge amount with random headaches I get too, for some reason.

I have a similar issue with constant ear infections, try chewing mastic gum. Something about the blood flowing through your jaw helps. I have no issues with ear infections after doing this
