I woke up this morning and found your chapter. I thought I was still dreaming!!! It didn’t stop me from devouring it. I loved it. Yay, Erin IS back!!!! So so so happy!!! Thank you, pirateaba, thank you. ❤️ Please rest and look after yourself - selfishly, could I please beg you for more than three chapters a month, especially now that Erin is back. If I understood your update at the end of book 8 correctly, you mentioned that so far you told a third or half of the entire story. If you plan on writing “only” three chapters of The Wandering Inn a month, I might not be there anymore to finish reading the story by the time it finishes (it probably would be the anticipation killing me)!!! Seriously, I can’t pull an Erin or Fetohep (yet). Love the Wandering Inn, pirateaba, best story ever ❤️

when your subconscious knows The Wandering Inn might be coming out, so you dream a The Wandering Inn dream and thus check your email when you wake up... feels like 🎄! :-D (for those who were curious: it was an adult male Mrsha on a quest to help the system help Fetohep let the ghost of young Mrsha communicate from the lands of the dead by enchanting a [Mundane Item] by sticking it in a reverse item-enchanting magic gumball machine, which would thus let the dead speak through the enchanted item. but... the only such item available in the post-battle chaos (and Erin was missing again) for some reason was a greatsword that Gire had picked up. mute adult Mrsha who doesn't have time to write down words was warned they couldn't grab the sword because it's to go into the loot pile or armory, but they eschew the warning and trip(!) Gire and grab the sword as a chase ensues. using magic to shrink the sword, they realize its shrunken form is still too big to fit in the magic gumball machine(noooo) and thus the plan will fail when Gire eventually catches up! . . .)
