But only a temporary joke, I think meant to give us insight into her motivation and to...set her up as a possibly very powerful positive and/or negative force in the times to come. THEN, she erased it so that she could use it in an actual contract and it sits blank but ready to be used for a no doubt good result (when considering the gods) complicated by an almost equally bad result (when considering the cost in lives).
