Side Story Poll - March 2023!

Gather up. Sit down. Have a drink. Not the alcohol. Not yet. Maybe coffee. Listen.
We’ve had a nice Volume 9, haven’t we? After Volume 8, the volume where the latter half was all movement and action and so much outlining and planning—I am proud of it, but that was an intense Volume 8, wasn't it?
This one’s had a lot more slice-of-life, even if it is sometimes filled with development. I’ve put in a bunch and yes, there are storylines like Orjin and the Horns and whatnot, but I have checked my notes. And I realized I can put it off no longer.
All my notes are waiting on certain events to take place. And so—this poll has some side stories. Lots of tales I can work in later. And it also has the plot. You can see it. And it will be coming no matter which side story wins. But you have a choice! There’s always a choice, even in writing stories. If you want it, it’s right there. So go ahead and vote. It wasn’t a long enough break since I finished Volume 8. It never is. I could rest a year and maybe I’d be at full energy, but I like this pace.
When it’s time, we’ll begin moving forwards again, faster. From a walk to a jog. Go ahead and vote on this one and let me know where you’d like the next chapter to be.

Khelt would be depressing, Antinium marching could be cool. I don't think anyone really cares about the lightning thief/griffin prince. Solstice knight would be more interesting than Kasinga.

Honestly I think there’s so much to explore from these last 2 volumes still that was only alluded too. I would love to see how some of these would connect back to main story. Archmage isle of Heiste called for help; the labyrinth’s of souls reactivated; Ksmvr’s teammate class and abilities that have yet to be used now that he’s back with team. What else is still a cliff hanger?

It’s something beginning as well. The Search for the Silver Dragon — New Lands from Ylawes’ perspective. Is he more popular now? The Shadows of Oteslia — Rickel was in a pickle. Now he’s mad. And the Gallowsmen are here. The Vale Forest Whispers — Something woke up. But who can see what’s going on? The New Lands — Time to go exploring at last. The Rulers of Jecrass — It’s hard. The King of Destruction is done, but Medain is still there and there are two rulers in one country. What’s going to happen? Is the war over just because someone said so? The Order of Solstice Begins — If he’s a [Knight], that means something. But this is no kindly Order. Nor easy quests. The New Bar of Pallass — Now there may be no return. But perhaps they’re tired of hiding, for all they’re still hiding. And is The Wandering Inn really going to be good at keeping secrets?
