Major Khorpe is one of the old Drakes of Salazar. He is some sort of high level infiltrator class and he was able to get into Erin's garden without her allowing him to when he first showed up.

I have spoiler questions. Love the book but I'm really, really confused. Who is the major? Did Oberon die? why was Oberon involved? What happened to Erin at the end? ( I read the chapter twice). It seems to me like the plot is the god of death was building a ghost power battery which the architect disassembled. Then out of nowhere some portal opens up and they get thread weapons that completely disconnect her from all power sources....then she goes somewhere. Is this a correct summary?

I think overal the Solstice battle was amazing. There were some parts I liked a little less than the others. But overal, it was great.

Ow. Just ow… Though the style almost saves the reader. By pulling the perspective back and telling in a colder fashion, it doesn’t hurt as much to lose people. Mercy or opportunity lost? Better to spare the reader or destroy them? Or is there more to come? Great writing.
