? Lichen can grow in caves. She wasn't always part of mountain city according to her own story and pretty sure wild growth is a nature focused shaman skill.

As much as I enjoyed it, I have to point out a shaman would know that lichen is a symbiotic living organism made of micro greens like moss and fungus or mould. While some types of lichen contain what we call moss, they are a much more advanced and still little studied from of life. Also know for many medicinal properties, also something a shaman would know.

I think Nerin is Nerry, but some of her motivations are still under cover so it's hard to map out why a selfish and cunning lamb is going so far for Erin on her own. She cowboyed up volunteering to rescue Erin in the first place, but the heat of the moment for an angry scrapper. My best guess is that she is working on her Book Trial or for the favor of the Goddess of War on behalf of Sarient Lambs. She may be brainwashed in some way the way Folianna suspected.

I know this probably isn’t true, and it probably is Nerry, but could the fake Erin be the missing part of Erin’s soul? Correct me if I’m wrong but Visophecin supposedly returned Erin’s soul to cancel out their deal. Why is her soul still cracked? However, the whole Nerry being sacrificial lamb for Erin and the fake Erin’s mannerisms matching Nerry is too big to refute.
