Oh man. I see some people are complaining about the animation. I think a lot of people are simply spoiled by how abundant anime is now. These artists work tirelessly. It absolutely makes sense to sacrifice some detail on no name npcs and mountain ranges, etc. this animation is not bad. Like I think people are starting to really take for granted how much work this takes and also how these studios are always working on multiple projects. If they had an extra 6 months - year. Could it be better? Sure. But there are deadlines and other things in play. They don’t just have an undisclosed amount of time to work on this like it’s a passion project. Everyone involved went off with this episode for sure. It’s important to know when detail matters and when you can sacrifice some. You can’t compare a very movement heavy focused anime, where 2/3rds of the episode is action, compared to one that has like a 2-5 min action scene. People are eating too good with anime now 😭

Haha kill bill instantly popped in my head as well. Definitely a homage. I always loved maki, when she “died” I was so hype saying “bullshit! She ain’t dead.” I knew she was too bad ass to go out like that! 😂 I’m still not sold nobara is gone honestly.
