I dunno if being this large helps with piloting mechs, but it certainly can't hurt...!
A piece for Shenti / SWCO of FurAffinity ! Shenti in the buff being -very- buff, sporting some EiS tattoos from Mechwarrior to help him with piloting mechs! ... okay i actually don't know what mech he would fit into to pilot at this size but, well, he looks great to me, so honestly, I'm certainly not going to complain.
Another one that got hit a bit due to the Painter and tablet troubles, but a little less impacted since it's just a character. I'm pretty pleased with some of the brushwork and lighting, but gosh, the anatomy took me a while to get to a place I was happy with. I need to actually get off my butt and do more studies, or at least my fundamentals, at some point. Regardless, have a very large dragon man! There is a lot to appreciate here...!
Thank you, Shenti, for trusting me with your wonderful guy! And enjoy, ya'll. c: Working on some ref sheet images for someone next.

Told you I'd be back again soon!
I said a lot of what I might write in the previous post, for Sombreve's DoC game. This is another one that, as mentioned above, I'm wondering about my process with. While the blending and rendering wasn't hurt nearly as badly in spots as it may have been in the Eastern Barrens piece, I'm starting to feel like my anatomy and fundamentals are rough, are needing work. Especially when I look to how other artists are constructing bodies and how quickly they are laying out poses, something certainly is rusty or isn't clicking here for me and I need to figure out what that is.
Which might, honestly, just be a confidence issue? But it may also be brushes. Since I work with very thin, smooth brushes during a fair amount of the sketching phase, I may need to break the habit and try some other things to help me block things out better, make the mass and form read a little more clearly. Then that might also lead in to rendering feeling chunkier and more exciting in different ways. It's something I'll need to play with, just like I do with backgrounds and such.
Thank you all again for the support. I know this one's extra message is a bit short, but it's kind of a piece done in tandem with Eastern Barrens, so there's not a lot extra to say. Just a general feeling all around of "I need to work on things. I need to fix things," that I don't really have a clear way forward with just yet. Regardless, thanks for reading, and for hanging around. I am doing some reference sheet poses and headshots for Draugvorn next, so it might take me a tiny bit before you see them! Lots of back and forth to be done to make sure we get his half-demon Pathfinder character correct.
Love you all. Stay safe out there. See you again soon. <3
