Sorry about the silence and the fact that I took about 40 years to say anything
I've currently gotten past arguably the longest portion of this commission, and the new process I've created has been set in stone and optimized. This will cut down the amount of time I need to animate by around 60-80%.
The lineart WIPs in this post will be utilizing the new process, so buckle up for the next few weeks as I'll be posting WIPs, we are so back.

He's more than likely going to finish it after some of the commissions. His new process cuts down the time frame by a couple months so this should all be done soon enough.

So is the plan to finish the hasumi/tsurugi anim after commissions or is it a maybe to it being finished at all? I'm getting confused by the wording

Hasumi is my favorite BA character so that's why I was asking. I wonder who might next, Hina? Ako? Mika? There's a lot of fan-favorites

I have a few more commissions lined up after this one, so I'll be able to zoom through them as well. I really do want to go back and possibly finish/revamp the Hasumi and Tsurugi project, especially since Tsurugi is one of my favorite characters in BA. Just as a little teaser, the upcoming commissions do include BA futa, with a certain fan favorite :3
