A small update on the status of Broken Promises. Got some mixed news for you all.
Firstly, the goal to 500 is closer now. Posing the final few portions of chapter 1 and I have a clear idea oh how to proceed with those scenes.
Secondly, some websites that focus on AVNs are keeping an eye on Broken Promises which is great news on getting more views for the VN. I was surprised when I got the tweet from them but it made me excited that some media people are interested.
Now it's time for some bad news. I'm sorry to lay this on you but I want to be totally transparent with you all as it is your money that is supporting me in this endeavour.
As I mentioned before, my GPU card is okay but not good enough to render as fast as I want to. After consulting with other artists and devs, I found a farm that will help to expediate the rendering faster. It will cost quite the sum but I think it will help until I get a RTX card.
The prices range from $50 - $150. The higher the cost means my renders will be prioritised for rendering as there are also other devs and artists that is using this service. I've been told that it is legitimate and many had given the farm some good reviews.
I will invest your money into this resource but it will take me more time to get the new graphics card. What I want to propose is to help alleviate my situation a bit.
I'm looking to get some additional funding just for the render farm itself. Just for a few months so that I can pose faster and send it to them to get it rendered. I'm looking at $75-$150 options to help with the process. Hopefully It will be for a short while as I am saving a portion of the patreon money for the 3060.
If anyone is interested in helping me with the render farm or the 3060, do dm me please.
Take note that I don't feel comfortable asking for more from you all. Everyone has done so much for me by just supporting this project which I am appreciative and grateful to. This is just to help me get off the ground faster and give you better and faster updates in the future.
