The last month’s development efforts have focused around fixing the music playlist features to be more user friendly and quicker to use.
We had a basic implementation of playlists for about a year, but it became clear that while many people were testing the functionality by creating a playlist, they were not adding any tracks or albums, so there appeared to be a blocker. To overcome this, we’ve created a 3 step wizard that allows you to add multiple albums or tracks to a list at the same time as creating it and uploading a cover image.
As this has just been rolled out please do give this a try and provide feedback if you think this isn’t doing the job as needed, but hopefully we’ll start seeing playlists populated successfully and quickly in the near future!

TheSportsDB has undergone a number of small feature updates recently, including:
- a summary of edits in the last 24hrs
- SEO friendly URLs for teams and players
There has also been a lot of new data added including:
- a now fully completed MLB baseball league with all players and team artwork
- and a start on Formula E, Euro 2020, African Cup of Nations and Women’s US Soccer.

Along with adding some cocktail recipes to the site, the biggest update this month was the work completed on the Beta API. Now developers can now search with multiple ingredients, and lookup recent and random cocktails with a single call.
TheMealDB
Much like TheCocktailDB, work was completed on a new beta API, available now!
Currently, Patreon supporters who have signed up on any tier get special access to these new features on TheMealDB!
Upcoming development plans
As always, if you’re a Patreon supporter, you can make suggestions and requests dependent on the tier. These are always reviewed and responded to as quickly as possible, and if they appear be a great enhancement for everyone, they’re added to the implementation schedule. So please do keep them coming in!

You can just change the URL from V1 to V2 of the API if you are a patreon supporter and have an API key
