In Kumo I would personally prefer a story that builds on Mabui's Heavenly Transfer Technique with something like "Light Release".

An mc who just has an extreme lightning affinity doesn't sound overly interesting to me. In my head I kind of picture a Sasuke without Sharingan but with the Raikage's Cloak of Lightning.
