I love this so much. It's absolutely beautiful.

Sean Obrian

I loved how it came out and gave me ideas how to create something like that for my guest bedroom.

Sarah Bartlebaugh

Beautiful

Serenity Fire

Just wondering if I will ever have the energy to do something similar

mercurybard

I'm finding these videos so inspiring...for my dollhouse

Andrea Gunn

Wow this came out so stunning. Details are life.

Linda Parr

This looks amazing , cant wait for the reveal

Riona O'Faoladh

Mahogany really is the best stain! I love how you did this. Bravo on the episode! Also, what will you use the room for? I think just off of the kitchen it would make a lovely butler's pantry or a breakfast room with plants.

Chris Matteson

The plywood is not staingrade. You could if you paint it. I've done both.

Shaylin Cecere

What?

Kacy

I want to get a Victorian house someday. I love all the ways you enhance yours!

Kacy

You can use a metal locking contour gauge for those complicated cuts like the crown molding. ❤️

Madam Thistle

That is mahogany! If you know, you know. Beautiful job!

Karmell Mazurek

OMG YES. I want to do this in our 1895 Victorian

Tania McIntyre

I am so excited to see what is next

Page Brunner

Could you use quarter inch 4 foot x 8 foot plywood instead of the bead board?

Heather Hofshi

Gorgeous job!

Theresa Adams

Looks beautiful

Jess

I love that idea. Plus then we will know the best hiding spots...you know...for the take over!😏😉

Jess

I can't wait!!!

Hey Christine! Long time viewer and subscriber <3 was curious if you could make a sort of layout/blueprint of your home so we could see what rooms you’ve worked on and see the overall progress of the house! Thought it might be fun to see you make something like that and kind of update it as you work on your hauntingly beautiful home.

Emily Martin

This video is just what I needed. I'm going to wallpaper my ceiling and want to put trim around it to make it look finished. This video gave me a lot of things to think about before starting to make sure I am doing it right.

Shardith (Mar)

Our town's mansion is so fortunate to have your love and care!! ❤️

Silvia Gerina

WOW! You are such an amazing human! So multi-talented and so skilled in all your endeavours.. So skilled in this type of home renovation things and yet so beautifully feminine! I'm just in awe and I can imagine the Captive must always just stare at you in awe, too!.. The ceiling turned out amazing, so beautiful! I looove coffered ceilings! One day I'll give it a try, too! :D Thank you for sharing your process! Greetings from Germany :)

Shelby Snow

This is amazing, I so desperately want to have the confidence to do something like this

Christopher Troy

Alexis

Off the charts- gorgeous!

Nysa Poe

I haven’t watched it yet, but OMG…it’s so cool!!! 🤩

Meg Hesness

This is the most stunning ceiling! I think it’s my favorite project of yours…and that’s saying something.

Tammy R Dowden

What I love is it looks like it's original to the house. If you do have ghosties, they must be so happy you moved in, because everything you've done, you've just hit it out of the park!

Jane C Holmberg

Gorgeous! This is the biggest upgrade dyi I can imagine!

Alisa Perkins

Your very handy 😊 looks beautiful. 👌

Melisa

Beautiful

Deb McGrath

Stunning!

Emy AUBIN

You're right, it would have been so expensive to have it done. But you literally nailed it as usual! The tricky part about the junctions would be a nightmare to anybody... 👏

Christopher Troy

On the lower flat egg and dart, you video looks like you went over it with a darker stain. Did you or was it just the way the wood took the stain. I love the near black highlites.

Audrey Prothero

On a total side note- Pineapples are the symbol of hospitality and that came about in the Victorian era. You can see them in several hotels that were built in and around that era (ie- the infamous Stanley Hotel). That may be why the bed and breakfast chose to have them as a border (or it was a terrible 80's driven decision).

Skelly Bones

This would be awesome :)

Vicki

I am always tempted to stop by to see what you are up to. lol

Vicki

Oh what a difference, a great step up. Can't wait to see each step. I could feel your pain holding up that nail gun.

Kat Harness

Where do you learn how to do all this? Do you have books, youtube videos, people? All of the above? I would love a video of you going through your research process before starting your unique projects.

Kellie Leahy

It's exceptionally beautiful! I'm glad you chose mahogany stain. It's perfect. And the detail in the trim work is elegant, yet simple. Every time I look at all the trim options, I get overwhelmed. Lol I'm looking forward to the wall design. So exciting and inspiring.

Natalie Clemens

You executed that so perfectly! I 100% agree with your perspective on baking/ cake decorating skills going hand in hand, with detailed work like such as that 🖤

Melissa Kerns

That is a million dollar ceiling!

Alyne Whiteswan

Christine, I think you're a genius. Not only an artist but an engineer. Your ability to plan is phenomenal! How do you know these things?

DMCM

Beautiful

Heather Brown

What a glorious ceiling.. the mahogany stain was so elegant looking with the details.. gah! You just amaze me lol. Happy Easter 🐣💓

Melissa

I’ve never seen the coiffed ceiling all put together and then installed. How beautiful it is indeed. You never take a cheater route and the details just scream authentic. I’m so happy to have come across you and your artistry. My heart feels so much joy watching the details and dedication to each project you do. It’s is such pleasure to watch you work. After each time my min goes nuts thinking up more ideas for our home. What an inspiration.

Jane Good

I had no idea what a coffered ceiling was but this took my breath away.

Anna Radaelli

It looks like its always been there! I don't think anyone walking in would think otherwise! As usual ... you've outdone yourself ... again!

Alexandra Kear

Christine this is just so beautiful! The extra amount you can push your abilities each episode is so noticeable! Also, have you thought about upgrading your cameras? I know 4k can have huge file sizes, but sometimes I feel like I can't see the detail and craftsmanship in your lovely work :(

Ellis

What's not to love 😍 So beautiful 🤎

Racheal Jones

Bee-yooooo-tiful!

Catherine Brennan

The ceiling is so beautiful

Leslie Langenegger

Once you stained the ceiling...Wow! It looks amazing!! Painting a ceiling has always been hard on my neck and arms. Hope you weren't too sore. Now go out and enjoy this mild, sunny Easter.

Heidi

I love the picture! Can’t wait to get all cozy in bed and watch this tonight!

mathewcarson

Love it! Such a cool way to create interest in an otherwise plain room

Sherrie Potgieter

The picture alone is awesome! I look forward to watching and thank you, Christine 😊

Martha Soria

Wow wow that was amazing! Thank you

Harper Leigh

The ceiling looks so unbelievably beautiful! Every time I watch one of these renovation type videos, I’m like “she is a mathematician/scientist on top of everything else!” Hahaha I’m very crafty and into interior design, but I don’t think my brain could do the math 🤌🏻😂

june7rose

Wow, not only could I not do that, most of the time I don't even know what you're talking about, but it certainly is beautiful

Meagan Underwood

I enjoyed that so very much, the ceiling is stunning!

As someone who doesn’t celebrate Easter but is stuck inside because everything is closed today THANK YOU for the creative inspiration! I don’t own a Victorian mansion (yet) but I love watching your videos and doing sewing and baking projects!
