I love this!!!!!!

Heidi Eschedor

You can have the captive read comments while you work on your project so you can be more interactive if you wanted to. I’ve seen that on a monster mask making project where the wife did the reading and he would answer without stopping his mask making. 😛

Sadly I may have to sit this one out and watch at a later date. I live in Houston and haven’t had power in days! 😭 Starting to loose count. I’d only have access to watch on my phone and sadly don’t want to kill the battery! So can’t wait to see this once I get power again! Have fun everyone! 🤗

Rachael Watts

Can’t wait! I will be painting my handsome kitty Jude who passed away last month ❤️ I have no oil paints but I think I could use gouache 🤞🏻

Lori Salvador

Thank you 😿

I'm not a painter, but I'd like a tattoo in dedication to the only being I've ever loved that has recently died. I'd like to draw it myself and I have a general idea. So I'll practice that.

B

I'm sorry for your loss. There are many online websites and online artists (check etsy) that create art of pets. I'm sure you can find something great.

I'm sorry for your loss

I'm so sorry for your loss

Sounds like fun ~ I have never painted an animal so ~ gulp~ a first for me. Oils are my preference too I will check mine and I have a couple of small canvases. Now to decide which cat~ two are tortoiseshell one is a male ~ yes 1 in 3,000 births the other female and I have a 21 year old Ragamuffin and a solid black cat. Hummmm maybe my black kitty 🐈‍⬛

My old puppy passed away today. I'd say this craft along is nicely timed. I'm going to do my best to make a tribute painting to him. Rest in peace Zohan.

Leslie Langenegger

Did you get your paints at Michaels? I was in that shopping center today.

Alexa F

Ok perfect, thank you! That's right, you're doing a wet method! I'll probably join with oils as well and prime ahead!

Christine McConnell

That's a great idea Heather!! I'll mention to do that in the Livestream :D

Christine McConnell

Agh! Lauren! You're up there at the perfect time!! My Mom just said the Dogwood's are blooming :D I hope you have an amazing stay and I can't wait to see your painting!

Christine McConnell

My canvas will have a dry coat of Gesso to start :))

Christine McConnell

Happy Birthday Josie!! I hope your day is amazing :D

Christine McConnell

Yay!! I just got back from the store to get mine :D

Christine McConnell

Haha! I say give that a try! It might reveal a hidden talent of his :))

Sarah Kane

First off, I recommend everyone zoom in on Prof. Poofs silly little face, because it made my day. Secondly I will be painting my precious kitten Mojo (I was just saying the other day that I wanted to try painting her 🖤)

Judy Campanella

Yes, I have been setting up a craft table in my garage so I'm so ready! I'll be painting my furry grandchild Shia, she's a beautiful Russian Blue.

Erin E

Omg Professor Poof is the most precious 😍

Alexa F

I don't know if anyone has asked but should we prime the canvas ahead of time?

Kimberly H.

I’m waffling between digital and watercolor, but I do also have tons of color pencils!

Josie

Argh! Sunday is my birthday, and I already have plans😤

Racheal Jones

What a fun idea for a craft a long!!!!

Emy AUBIN

Yay! That's a crazy one! I'll use watercolors to paint my most precious familiar, Salem. A black cat of course! He was born on the very day my Mom passed away, so he is my guarding angel now. 😇

Rochelle

I can’t wait! Mine will be a digital painting or maybe I’ll crack out the colour pencils!

Mina Murray

Oh gosh, with my artistic talents, I'm probably better off painting my pet by letting Jackie-Boy (he's the white cat) splash around in water colors...

Missy Misfit

Welp, looks like I’m going to be dropping some money on all the painting stuff I’ve been meaning to get tomorrow lol. See you Sunday!

Missy Misfit

I second this.

Jenny McKinsey

First of all Poof is the Major General of cuteness!!! Secondly, the paint along could not be more well timed as I need a serotonin boost. This week has been remarkably ridiculous to the point I need my own laugh track. I blame the solar storms (shakes fists in the general direction of the sun). I'll be following along with my acrylics and I'm so looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with! :)

Lynnetta

I love this idea! I lost my sweet tortie Chai in November and I have been wanting to paint her ❤

Kimberly H.

Good! I’ll paint Mustachio, the wild rabbit who visits the yard.

Heather Jaynes

I can’t wait!! Instagram hasn’t been great recently with hashtags- if we tag @christinehmcconnell in our posts then we can all see our art on the “tagged” section of her profile!

Sherrie Potgieter

Oh no, I'll be out of town! I'll have to watch next weekend and paint a pet....just have to pick which one 🤔 One of the ducks or the dragon or maybe the cat, fish or dog! 😄

Leslie Langenegger

Sounds like a lot of fun! Hope you paint Poof because my Hershey is long haired too. Can't wait! See ya then.

Lori Salvador

I wish you would paint my beloved Oliver, who I lost to cancer 😭.

Katie Milone

Yay!! Sounds awesome! So excited; I haven’t tried oils since I was a teenager. And I’ve got a fluffy little boy who just had his 12th birthday last weekend so perfect! 🐶 I take forever too Christine…will probably not post the finished piece for like 3 months haha!!

Aunt Debbie Halloween

I'm excited to do this! And I'm so glad you're not actually painting your pets!

Aunt Debbie Halloween

You are so lucky!

Alisha Edwards

Ooooo love this! I’ll see if I can do my black cat justice 🐈‍⬛😂

Lauren Smith

Christine, I am staying at your old Twin Peaks home this weekend and I am psyched to be able to participate in this while I’m there! I will be channeling all the vibes!!!😍😍😍
