Loved this. A Christmas themed one would be amazing too!

How incredibly beautiful! I had this on during my Halloween house party. Appropriately positioned above the alter/ fire mantel. My guests were enchanted and mesmerized, thank you for sharing a piece of your magical realm. Happy Halloween 🎃🖤

I love this video and played it while I worked yesterday. It was a great way to drown out the background noise while in the office. I love these types of videos and how you put your own spin on it!

Sarah Brown

I am using this video for my party!! And I got a card. What a wonderful surprise thankyou so much. I'll still be subscribing when I'm shipped off to Shady Pines so don't stop creating. No matter how bad a day I have had, I know I can rewatch an episode of Christine and The Captive and things aren't so bad x

Melvin Jones

This is Miss Havisham’s bedroom meets Dark Shadows with a touch of Crimson Peak. The result is absolutely captivating! The haunting ethereal music makes this great background in my shop while I create Edwardian themed objects d’ arte. Thank you

Siren Joy

I just got my Amazing Card. Thank you Christine and Captive! I'm forever grateful for the pure creative genius and the utmost lessons😱 learned, with each day that your ingenuity brings. My home is Hallows Eve ready. Ancestors welcome.

Aunt Debbie Halloween

Oh my gosh - just got a really cool Halloween card from Christine!!!! It was so exciting to see her name on the envelope - and the art on the card is amazing - plus a spell! I'm so happy!

Katie Milone

Holy cats!!! I adore this!! I’m a hospice nurse and spend a lot of time charting at home with ambience going in the background…nothing could be more amazing than perfectly spooky Christine with Grant’s AMAZING tracks! Straight up thank you for this one!!

Judy Campanella

This is great!! I'm having a small dinner party this Saturday and was wondering what I could put on the big screen while we're eating. The tv is in another room but the sound is soo soothingly spooky that it will be perfect. The captive did a wonderful job! Thank you for this one.

Jonathan Holmgren

This is gorgeous !!! I wanna climb inside it and take a spooky lil nap 🥰🥰🥰

Andrea Joian

This is what was missing in my life and I didn’t even know it. thank you!

Alice

Amanda Williams

I fell asleep to this, it made me so happy. <3

Bernadette Schmidt

I love love this! Can you do one for the holiday season, too? The Captive could be Scrooge and you could be the 3 ghosts!

Yvette Gray

Not only is this amazing, but can we also give major props to Grant, (cough, cough, I mean the Captive) for the incredible music he has created?! 👏👏👏❤

SPecetti

Love it! I’ve been putting it on in the background while reading “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” at night.

Doreena Clark

So cool! Thank you!!

Victoria Aubrey

This is so stunning!!! The editing work you’ve done on it is so incredible! I wonder if one day you could do a bit of a show and tell of how you do video editing, a bit like you did with your photoshop episode xxx

madalyn rc

Love this so much

Brenda Fairbanks

Such a great and eerie ambiance video!

Annalise

This is just the coolest. What I love most is that this is an actual room in an actual house. Most of the ASMR ambiance videos I watch aren't actual places. It makes it all the more amazing. Thank you, Christine! You always out do yourself.

Stefanie LaZerte

So much fun! I also wonder, in general, for the 'public' videos, would it be possible to include a Patreon only version of them as well, so we don't get the ads?

Gonzalo Plaza

Amazing. The perfect crossover of CM and Haunted Mansion! 🖤

Kurtis Wayne Cable

Absolutely adore this 🖤

Heather Cherry-Roberts

Fantastic!

Maikayah Baird

My favorite ambiance video ever!!! My family makes fun of me for playing ambiance videos, but who cares. This one is top tier, next level! You completely out do yourself; and take it once step further with every video you put out! It makes me so happy to be one of your patrons. Also is the woman in white you? I came up with a backstop for this video haha So, the woman in black killed the woman in white after finding the captive and her having a moment. And in death the woman in white is still jealous of the woman in black for not only killing her but having taken her from her one true love the captive and kills her to have him all to herself haha 😂😂😂

Marnie Kaler

Wow thank you!!

Melissa McCrummen

My mom and I are sitting right in front of the tv and trying to spot everything! 😂 wondering if there’s a storyline underneath all the ghost appearances.

Jennifer

This is amazing! Idk why I am watching this and trying my make an I spy out of it to see all the things! Maybe the next one like this could you add a search list of items to look for? I wish I could download this so I could have while I’m at work!!

Esther Reyes

This is amazing!

Christine McConnell

Thank you so much Kelly! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :D

Heidi

Ok, so I first didn’t know what an ambience video was -not being American or from somewhere where they are a thing and all that- so I didn’t know what was going on, but now I googled it and get it I am absolutely enchanted by it and I want to play it in a loop 😍😍😍😍

Kelly Skelley

This is my new favorite. Today is my birthday so I’m totally gonna pretend you made this for me. 😂 This video is beyond any other ambiance video I have ever seen. I love that this is a real setup in your home, and a stunning one at that. The little scenes happening are pure Christine magic. The music Grant crafted is absolutely perfect. What a creative collaboration of both your talents. I adore this video. Bravo. I do hope you make more of these. A new story in every room of your extraordinary home?

Laura Simons

I'm absolutely enchanted by this. The music, sound scaping and lighting work together so well and the fading in and out of the ghosts is so subtle that at first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. The different types of hauntings happening are so cool too! The bride seems to genuinely haunt this place, moving around and looking about. While the spectres of the gentleman and the lady seem to only relive one specific moment over and over. I got so excited when I noticed the hautings actually changed. The first time I saw the poisoning scene (around 4 min) the bride reaches for the gentleman from her coffin and tries to embrace him when he dies. But the second and third time (around 14 and 24 min) instead of embracing him, she suddenly appears behind the lady with her hands outstretched as if to strangle her. Perhaps the haunting in this room collapses time somewhat and the bride died before she could marry her gentleman, who then married the lady in black, who poisoned him (black widow, perhaps?), after which the vengeful ghost of the bride killed /her/. I can't imagine how much time must have gone into creating this!!

Giselle

I love this so much. What a great idea and execution is amazing..of course!! The best Halloween visualizer. Thank you, Christine and captive.

Sandra Martinez

LC

This is incredible. Thank you so much for this!!

Elizabeth Scarborough

What a brilliant, beautiful and entertaining piece. Wonderful atmosphere!

Mina Murray

This is lovely! I'm glad we have to option to watch it on Patreon, since YouTube interrupts with ads, which kinda ruins the ambiance.

Elizabeth Hammond Miniatura

I have been looking to play something for my party and NOTHING looked good! This is perfect!!!!! Thank you, Christine!!!!!❤️

Merissa Monroe

This is so amazing and exactly what I was hoping for when you did this room. 👏🏻

Megan Donlon

I love these SO much. They are constantly on in the background at our house... but the AI backdrops always bother me. THIS is THE one. I love all of the spooky things that are happening in a very subtle way. The music is *chefs kiss*. You have found your calling😂 (well, one of many). Cheers, to my selfish hopes of many more. I might die though if you do a Christmas one🤞x

I absolutely love this! Every once in a while I go watch the ambient tour of your old California home because its actually so relaxing to watch, plus of course that house was just incredible after everything you did to it. This video is perfect to have on as a background for a stormy night.
