Text Update - 21 November 2020

Before we get started, I wanted to announce I’m going to move next week’s update back 24 hours to Sunday evening US time. The reason for the change is I want to make it easier for miro to review the posts before I publish them. He and I have a weekly Skype meeting at the same time (US evening is our Monday morning) and it’s faster for him to explain an addition or a correction over voice chat than typing it up. This is especially helpful when I’m trying to understand something technical that was said in a discussion between two animators, or if he’s made progress on something over the weekend and wants to add anything last minute.
Next thing to note, we’ll post a Bloodlust update in December. Don’t know the exact week we’ll publish it yet, but once you’re up to date on the big stuff, I’ll include the smaller progress updates from the main production in the weekly posts.
The Seed of Rebirth pt. 5 - Close to completion and up next.
The Seed of Rebirth pt. 6 - Nothing to Report (NTR), some key posing done but still in progress.
Circle of Love 1000 Patrons Oral Sex Animation Winner - Had some technical problems arise with the latest draft (Cerene’s dick was getting cut short, realigning Lanessa’s mouth to Sophia’s cock took longer than expected, etc.) but we’re getting there. Plan is to do a camtest after minor changes. Minor changes are stuff like adding a little movement to a foot, fixing some wobbling, etc.
CyPunk 1000 Patrons Vaginal Sex Animation Winner - Animator is still working on the requested changes, but the current version has been sent to the render farm for a cam test.
Circle of Love 1000 Patrons Double Penetration Animation Winner - Rigger has completed rig replacement and passed it off to an animator. Awaiting draft.
Sophia Daz Port - NTR, awaiting QA approval.
AS09 - Japanese Image Set - NTR, script needs to be finalized, project on standby. I should note that the writer for this one is Alice, who you may recall has been tied up with other projects. As such, I’d expect this one to stay on standby until the new year.
AS10 - Super Heroes Image Set - Initial posing for part 1 is complete, moving on to detailing now. Late scene lookdev still in progress, and artist for part 2 is being lined up.
AS11 - Star Image Set - NTR, current version of lookdev files need review.
AS12 - G4E Image Set - NTR, still queued for lookdev.
FYI, in general, all in-progress lookdev needs to be completed before we assign new lookdev.
AS13 - Princess Image Set - Lookdev in review.
AS14 - Gaming Image Set - Lookdev still in progress for both environments and characters, artist is making some updates to props.
AS15 - B&W Image Set - NTR, script being finalized, project on standby.

Hey EmEn, I'll add this to our feedback sheet, but overall we're aware of the performance issues and correcting them is our highest priority. The issue comes from having needed to upgrade to a newer version of our store system to appease the powers that be, and then (as I understand it) finding the newer version is not particularly well optimized out of the box. This has placed a lot of demand on our servers, which we've upgraded to the best option in response, but the site is still slow so we must now apply our own optimizations. We've hired a specialist for the job, so hopefully we'll see improvements soon. -Marie

Random feedback since I don't know where else to put this. The A3D store seems to be really squirrelly. Been trying to support a few artists the last few weeks and there seems to be super slow load times, or at the current moment, straight up error messages getting thrown just trying to reach the storefront, regardless of browser. Just inconsistent performance and downtime overall.

@IBT, that's categorically not NTR. Not calling the scenario dumb, just that it's not even "NTR-lite." NTR has to have some aspect of cheating / perception of lost loyalty. NTR lite would maybe be something like the cheated partner enjoying it, or a reaffirmation of the relationship / cheated partner's worth after the episode of cheating.

To be fair, ANY kind of "dick measuring contest" is going to wind up with NTR elements to it, even if it doesn't go all the way like hentai tends to do in reaching for full on mindbreak status "I can't live without THIS cock in me!" where loyalties are "stolen" and the intent is to insult and shame the "loser" of the contest out of contention entirely. I would argue that the Circle of Love offered perhaps the best scenario for such an NTR-lite opportunity, with Cerene and Lanessa "competing" to see which of their cocks Sophia "wanted most" ... and which one of them was the better sucker/fucker. However, that question of "who was better" wasn't resolved yet (although it looked a bit like Cerene had the upper hand, except that Lanessa stayed balls deep in Sophia's ass at the end). I prefer to think of Circle of Love as being a repeating event where all three of them get together in Sophia's bedroom every week for "another round" of sex and everyone's basically lost track of keeping score (because the points are unimportant by now).

@TheGreatCornholio Yeah, like I said, "elements of." I don't think we'd ever do a full on NTR product catering exclusively to the NTR crowd. But something along the lines of what you've already seen in Bloodlust or Lady of the Tower, where Tristan is literally thrown out of the scene so a dickgirl can fuck the girl. We'd be comfortable going a little farther down that road but it's probably always going to be a lighter treatment compared to a lot of NTR stuff out there. The team tosses the term "feel good fap" around a lot, as something we're generally aiming to achieve with when we're scripting our main productions. We're, of course, subject to change overtime so don't quote this as set in stone, but I highly doubt we'll ever see Sayako sad fapping as Tara cheats on her with a Starbucks barista. -Marie

Miro's already NTR'd Sophia (Tristan cheated on her with Cerene), and then NTR'd Tristan with Cerene's superior D (like the cuck deserved). Sophia even compares Cerene's huge cock and says Tristan was never allowed to cum inside here. As far as I see it NTR is already in the wheelhouse. Futa NTR is something I can always get behind. Femdom is an idea that's inherently played with in futa art. A lot of people don't like hetero NTR because it's designed to immasculate the reader in relationship with the (male) bull. Whereas NTR with the futa acting as the bull is an intensification of that femdom streak.

You should also take into account there are people quite strongly AGAINST ntr so you should be quite careful where you include it, especially for big movies. I've seen some VN projects being avoided like the plague because of the ntr tag. For example in G4E if you introduce another character it should be consensual, not a fetishization of Tara or Sayako being cheated on.

There's definitely some fans of the other NTR in the A3D audience as well as the staff, so we're not opposed to including some elements of it in our work. (We aren't likely to go into the really dark NTR though). Just needs to make sure it fits the set up we're working within. 🙂-Marie

I think we've answered this already, but if not, there will be both canon and non-canon sets with the G4E girls. In the canon sets it will just be Sayako and Tara (unless they make a friend to join in), but in the non-canon sets, the girls will appear with other characters. In the non-canon sets, the girls really aren't the same girls you know from G4E -- just as the Cerene in Bloodlust Cerene isn't the same as Cerene in Cypunk or The Seed of Rebirth. You can think of this as the A3D girls being actresses playing different roles, or there being numerous alternate universes. -Marie
