From what I’ve seen, Miro and James are juggling quite a bit at the moment to get all this Patreon content wrapped up this month. As such the text update took a back seat for a bit. Anyway, after the last Blender trial animation we released, miro pivoted to finalizing Flying High. James covers a bit of that, so I’ll let him take it from here.
Hey everyone, this week we’re focusing on a couple of animations. Like I mentioned last week, we’ve got one scene that’s had some lighting work done featuring Cerene (dickgirl) and Tifa (girl) in doggy-style fucking. We’ve had an artist set up better lights to make it look more like a club setting (blue/purple lighting and volumetric lights). I’ll be rendering that out in the next couple of days. We’re also putting the final touches on Cerene’s sexy walk - just positioning the HDRI correctly now as the animation itself is done.
We’ve got a working Blender dickgirl version of Lanessa now, set up with the same rig as Cerene. The only issue is creating a female version of her, parented to that same rig, so we’re going to try the shape key approach. The only issue here is reordering Cerene’s vertex count to match an exported Daz version of female Lanessa.
Also, we are happy to say that flying high part 11 is being assembled and the final touches are being made to the cum shots. Once that’s done, we will be posting it here (ETA is Wednesday), so stay tuned!
Beyond what James wrote, I checked in on the status of the Seed of Rebirth and CyPunk animations. Miro says the Seed of Rebirth animation is close to releasable in terms of animation right now, and what we’re working on at the moment is just polish and lookdev (to get the lights and environment looking right).
As for CyPunk, I dug in a bit to better understand what’s turned this animation into our current problem child. It seems there’s been a conflict between the frame rate of the video edit (which we created the voice over to) and the frame rate of the original animation. The conflict means we get a slowed down lipsync in the final version that doesn’t match. We’ve been working on a fix, but the Maya render times just drag everything out. Anyway, that’s the main reason we’ve had to re-render this one many times.

I just figure the FutaxFuta people aren't as loud because they're usually happy with any futa content, period given the niche nature of all this. The other side of the coin will start phoning their state representatives like a concerned soccer mom before the content even gets made to ensure no swordfighting occurs that could corrupt the minds of our youths 😂

Thank you so much for the detailed reply, Marie! Really appreciate it. I'm obviously super looking forward to one of the first voiced / lightly scripted animations since even a little bit in that department goes a long way in a short animation. Just also want to reiterate I think you're doing a great job in some tough circumstances keeping a very opinionated and unruly set of Patreons up to date given what you have to work with (If something isn't ready or has no updates, there's obvioiusly not much you can do) I know it's not a fun time visiting the comments section lately. So thanks a ton for checking on it and apologies for being bothersome.

I agree 100%! Right now I am looking most forward to Bloodlust (obviously) followed by walking animation with Cerene... Strange! Cerene's domineering presence fits a dgirl so much more than a girl. The walk should show off her arrogant, maybe hot headed(?), nature. This is just my head-canon though. Ultimately it's about the team to show us how Cerene really is like.

Yeah, sorry for not digging at this sooner. I know when it didn't show up some of you were probably thinking "oh they never even finished it" but as far as I knew the animating was definitely done back when we said it was. When I was told it had to be re-rendered a few weeks later I didn't ask for details, because I assumed it was for something typical like I've seen before. We've had instances where the wrong render setting is used, or someone's shoes were left hidden, or we spot some clipping in the final version that wasn't obvious in the viewport. In those instances the problem is usually fixed in 1-2 renders so I figured it would be the same here. It was only after it had been back to render so many times that I realized it must be something bigger, and I got miro to explain it to me this week. This is one benefit of getting James to help with the updates because he knows the technical aspects of what's happening, whereas I'm mostly just reporting. This is a good lesson that I should enquire more preemptively in the future, though. Anyway, to answer your question, I'll need to check with miro in terms of who is primarily handling this fix. It could be entirely settings based, in which case a render artist would be tackling it, but if the animation needs to be tweaked or cheated to get things matched, then I'd guess miro will be involved. Owing to the lack of info on the Circle of Love DP animation, dare I hope that the previous work in Maya has been ditched in favor of a cold restart for this animation in Blender (possibly as an extra file to be included with BL:L when it finally releases)? Mind you, I still WANT the DP of Sophia by Cerene and Lanessa to be animated ... but I would prefer a GOOD product for that than a rushed into substandard product. Besides, once you get Cerene, Lanessa and Sophia all ported over into Blender, you would only need the environment of Sophia's bedroom and lighting/lookdev before you've got all the parts and pieces you need to REALLY FILL Sophia up with all the cock (and cum) she can take!

Sounds like some good stuff coming up At least it sounds as if the Cypunk problems aren't animation related that requires man hours in the editor, moreso just framerate/sync issues. Assuming it's one of those things that isn't spottable until the render is done?
