Updated story
🕑 Added 2023-11-06 16:59:51 +0000 UTCI debated on how to update my work. I decided to share starting from where I finished last time. I didn't have a lot of time to write yesterday, but I did get some time.
She walked to her door and found Dave standing there with a smile, “You up for Pizza?”
Amara smiled, pushing her concerns to the side for now. She had time enough to worry about it. “Order as much as you can.” She said while unlocking the door. “I need to let a friend know I’m busy.”
Dave ordered two large pizzas with hot wings and two orders of stuffed cheese bread. They spent the night eating and having sex until nearly two in the morning when Dave went home. Amara lay in bed after smiling and musing. She knew she had to have put on the two pounds needed to have passed 200, but she wouldn’t know until the next weigh-in day. She felt her soft belly and noted that even being stuffed with pizza, cheese, chicken, and soda wasn’t enough to get rid of the wobble of her belly. She had a more solid dome up top, but the skin was hardly stretched out. It made Amara smile wider but didn’t settle the unease she had begun to feel for her little arrangement.
She liked Dave, Amara couldn’t deny that, but they had reached that same point of stalemate Alexandrea had with him. The sex was great, and she loves stuffing with her, but was that enough? As Amara dozed off, one question kept bouncing around in her head. What was the difference between what she and Dave were doing and what Alexandrea and Austin were doing? It left her with some strange dreams as Amara processed all the peperoni and sausage with hot wings.
When morning came, Amara let out a long loud belch and felt her stomach. She mused she could feel more fat than when she went to bed, but knew it was just her imagination. She always felt fatter now, but had lost the comparison to anything specifically. She was just getting huge. Amara started thumbing through the delivery app and eventually got out of bed. Suddenly, the prospect of making breakfast sounded like the most fun thing ever.
She smiled and sent a text to Alexandrea. “Want to come down for breakfast?”
“Where you ordering from?” Alexandrea texted back.
“Nowhere, I’m cooking.” She went to the bathroom and pulled a hoodie over her head. She didn’t feel like taking a shower right then, but did the basics on cleaning up. Once her hair was pulled up in a messy ponytail, she saw another text come in. “I’ll alert the fire department.” With a laugh amoji.
“I can cook.” Amara wrote with indignation. She had everything for a decent breakfast, she just didn’t cook all that often.
“Alright, I’ll be down in a bit.” Alexandrea wrote.
“No rush, Sloppy Saturday.” She wrote with a smile. Alexandrea always looked stunning, even in her outgrown maternity clothes.
A half hour later, Amara was cooking and Alexandrea was knocking on the door. Amara opened the door and quickly returned to her cooking. “I could smell the bacon on the way down in the elevator.” Alexandrea said.
Amara flipped her eggs and stirred the hash browns. “I can’t remember the last time I cooked like this.” Amara said.
“Why don’t you?” Alexandrea asked, parking herself at Amara’s dining table.
Amara shrugged as she cracked the first set of eggs in a pan, “Ordering in is easier. Over hard?” Amara asked.
Alexandrea shrugged, “Only way I’m allowed right now.” Then Alexandrea smiled wistfully, “first thing I’m getting as soon as this baby’s born is getting a huge order of cold cut sandwiches and a side of kimchee.” Then smiled wistfully, “And I want you to make me over easy eggs for breakfast.”
Amara laughed as she flipped the eggs and began plating the potatoes. “I’ll be happy to.” Once the potatoes were out, she added more butter to the pan and added sausage to fry. “Pree cooked sausage is a cheat, but it’s easier.”
Once done, Amara had two full plates of food for both women and two large glasses of juice. Alexandrea took a bite and smiled, “You’re amazing. How’d you learn to cook like that?”
Amara laughed, “Nicesity.” She took a bite. “As soon as I was old enough to flip an egg, my mom said I was old enough to cook for myself.”
“Have I mentioned I hate that woman?” Alexandrea said. She took another bite of her food, “But you’re a hell of a cook.
It was 10 in the morning when the women finished eating and Amara noticed a text from Anna. “Damn have you read this stuff?”
Amara looked at her phone between gathering up plates, “What stuff?” she wrote.
“The stories from that friend of yours?” Anna wrote.
“I didn’t even know she wrote, she never talked about it on facebook.” Amara wrote, and then started gathering the plates from breakfast.
“I can do that.” Alexandrea said in protest.
“Sit down,” Amara said sternly. At Alexandrea’s look of petulance, she said, “I don’t have a catcher’s mitt,” and looked pointedly at Alexandrea’s large stomach.
Alexandrea rolled her eyes and said, “Then give me the phone. I’ll talk to Anna.” Once given the phone, Alexandrea said, “What stories.”
“Her date writes fat fiction,” Amara said, placing the plates in the sink and began running the water.
Alexandrea laughed and said, “No shit?” She started typing and said, “She says the work is really good, and explicit.”
Amara tirned around once the sink was filled with soapy water. “As in…”
“As in x rated.” She kept reading, “As in detailed stuffings…” Alexandrea wrote some more and laughed, “Anna’s panicking.”
“We all work for the same place,” Amara said, “What’s the big deal?”
Alexandrea looked up, “You didn’t have fantasies about this stuff before working here. This chick does.”
“So?” Amara walked over to the table, “She’s into it, that’s all.”
Alexandrea began to rub her stomach, “We’re all into it, and some of us were into it before we got fat, but there’s a difference between enjoying it once you’re in the situation and dreaming about it for years. You have an expectation to live up to.”
Amara shrugged. She wasn’t so sure about all of that, but the reality was that she enjoyed her life. Being fat was fun, but the point for her was having a better life. “So, is Anna getting more into her?”
Alexandrea looked down at the phone again and shrugged, “I think she’s still on the fence a little, but I think so. We’ll see after tonight.” Alexandra smiled and said, “Want to help me put presents away?”
The weekend went on with Anna’s date, Amara and Alexandrea finishing up the baby room and spending the evening watching sappy old movies that made Alexandrea cry. Sunday was spent chatting with Dave in text and getting some idea about how the date went with her new friend. She seemed to think it went well, which made Amara guess it had gone even better.
