Obviously as a creator, you want to create things with your viewers in mind. But you should never forget to create things that YOU want to see, and try to make them how YOU would like them to be made. If it doesn't bring you joy to produce everything the same way, it's okay to try a different approach. To try going above and beyond what's been expected or asked of you. It's easy for us as fans to go "Just make things the way you've been making them. That's worked so far" but if you don't enjoy making things that display the exact same level of skill, without graduating your methods at all, it can get boring. It can feel like you've peaked too early, and you run out of steam. It can feel like everyone loves it, except you. That everyone is impressed with your work, except you. And at that point, why bother creating at all? It can be tough to grapple with, no doubt. And unfortunately there's not a simple solution. I'd be content with less frequent releases (considering the topic of edging, I guess I'll say "No pun intended") for work that you deam as being polished enough. But as has been stated I believe a few times, a LOT of the details you might be stressing over are very likely things that your viewers won't even notice. You're allowed to strive for perfection, just don't get hung up on the idea of making *everything* perfect. I would assume that most of your fans are like me, and would be content with marginal improvements being made with each release. Eventually this experience will add up, these details will be noticed, and the little improvements will culminate in amazing works that serve as day-and-night compared to your previous work.

How long until we can see it,Can it be released this month

Good and detailed information, thanks for that. But I am disappointed that not any visuals / images / animation of the work in progress is shared, I do not understand the reason for that.

I just love your work and your taste and I want to support you in making the shit you wanna make. If it’s made with passion, I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to jerk iff to it :)

Mate don't half ass this, give Sombra project, and all content the happy ending and TLC they deserve!

Sometimes plans are just not going the way you want to. That's the life, it is unforeseeable for us mere mortals. Don't take it too hard. The next time it will go smoothly.

Trevor Bond

A friend of mine said 'If a plan goes to plan in a business, it's because you're not being told what went wrong by the team'. Delays and being sidetracked do happen, the good team leader is the one who deals with them and is honest about delays. You're doing good, you got this. Live and learn!

Batcat

See, this is why I’ve followed you for as long as I have: The transparency. The honesty. The strive to improve, the ambition to drive it and the knowledge that we are all only human. We don’t always live up to our ambitions, but we always learn and we always improve and we know that as long as we don’t stop then one day we might live up to those ambitions. I personally don’t mind delays but I know from personal experience that the sheer pressure of having people waiting for you can be crushing and I’m honestly amazed you’re not only managing but flourishing under it all! Mistakes happen. I appreciate you telling us about them and giving us a peak behind the curtain, and that you’re putting measures in place to prevent future ones. We know future mistakes will happen, but hopefully not the same ones again. Art comes from the soul, and I like that you’re telling us what keeps yours shining.

Hello new huge fan here. I joined you because there is nothing else is like this anywhere... At least what I can find... You are human, but ou have people backing you. Take your time. You have people supporting you for doing what you love. Thanks for doing what you do. <3

Mistakes and errors are human! Don't beat yourself up about them! Any artist worth their brushes makes countless mistakes. Take it from a digital artist lmao. I'm certain I'm not only speaking for myself when I say I'd rather wait longer for a higher quality product, than a rushed, lower quality one that meets a deadline. 💛

Justice for the Toon Shoe

he stated in the first paragraph basically that the video was almost done and there are just some details to hammer out. it's unfortunate that this update was ruined by constant whining over release timing but whatever. the peasants have spoken

Haddockhh

Are there no previews for this update? Always looking forward to your work no matter how long it takes

I support artists who make art I enjoy. I also recognize that they need the time to make their art, and it is in my interest to give them that space. Constant torturing to produce or change the output is counterproductive. I like to give feedback if I think it will be helpful, and I think most artist like to know how their audience is responding to their art. I'm glad to hear you have learned from the pipeline woes, and growing from a team of one to more is bound to invite challenges as you have detailed. I am looking forward to whatever you make next, and the plan you stated seems good to me.

MrDj

Thank you for telling us this. I respect that it takes much inner strength to not only admit these lapses to others, but also oneself.

Grey Carl

Do not beat yourself up about this, mistakes happen and project planning is never perfect - just do it as you can and you know we all appreciate it 👍

Psy4

As I’ve said before, the quality of your art is unmatched. Added to that, your passion to constantly improve, while holding yourself and your team accountable, is both inspiring and rewarding as a supporter. I think most artists go through this part where they realize where they are now is not what they had in mind when they started. You seem to have a great plan in place and I can’t wait to see what you produce going forward.

jonny wii

it ok. hiccups and unexpected shit happens to the best of us. I personally don't mind waiting as long as the end result is worth the wait. based on your previous works, there isn't a single doubt in my mind that this work will be 1000% worth the wait. all the way maximus!
