Naruto did have an unreal amount of chakra but only cause kurama kept feeding him constant chakra to weaken seal hence him being bad at jutsu at first because he couldn't control it all finely making clones and stuff terrible

Yeah Naruto can use multi shadow clone jutsu and Boruto can’t idk if boruto could even possible use that forbidden jutsu it really hasn’t showed his depth in chakra I don’t think Naruto had an unreal amount of chakra 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don't forget Naruto is Boruto's father and the Hokage in the series so he'll have some development too ;)

This whole series just keep in mind that Naruto never really had a dad or even a family. He has no clue how to raise someone cause he raised himself that explains a lot of his behavior towards his family

Naruto can't even make more than 3 clones anymore because it takes too much stamina out of him, Naruto is said to work non stop for weeks even without sleeping day and night.

Actually naruto does use the shadow clone to do his work that's why his always so tired. My dude has a lit of work to do during this age. Lots of paperwork that keeps piling up.

It would be if it was a manga but that's now how it works in anime form where you can copy and paste the same character model over and over again so I don't think that's why. Naruto had a lot of shadow clones but they mostly did nothing or acted stupidly whereas Boruto does like 4 and they can each act smart. Boruto has nowhere near as much chakra as OG Naruto despite Boruto being more skilled. That's why Boruto doesn't make that many clones in comparison.

so the thing about shadow clones, yes he should be able to make shadow clones to do SOME work for him (not all. cause it would send a bad message to the people if ur hokage was a clone 99% of the time), its an inconsistency obviously, but i like to think of shadow clones as dumber versions of yourself, because tbh 99% of the time, the shadow clones just disappear after 1 hit, falling, or just using some chakra depending on how many he has out, so it would make sense why he wouldn't use a stupid clone to do his hokage work. also, the only reason naruto is able to make so many is because of the ENORMOUS amount of chakra he has. remember he is half Uzumaki and he has Kurama. the tailed best with the MOST chakra. Boruto is only 25% uzumaki and doesn't have a tailed beast so he has WAY less chakra.

When you guys were comparing their shadow clones, remember that Naruto learned "Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu" from the scroll of seals on the first episode of the Naruto series. This jutsu was forbidden because it used up a lot more chakra which can be very deadly. Boruto, from the few episodes you've seen so far, only knows the normal "Shadow Clone Jutsu", which is typically used to create a few handful of clones.
