Weekly Update - Sep 12th

I think you all know what I have been working on this past week. Chapter 9 dropped on Tuesday of course. I hope those of you how have it have had a chance to play through and enjoyed it.
If you've not got a hold of it yet, it can be purchased here of course through the Best Friend tier, also by paying directly for the post that includes the downloads. On Steam and on Itch too. All versions are now updated to include Chapter 9.
I took a day or so to rest after what was a pretty hectic few weeks getting the chapter complete. It did take a lot longer than I had hoped for a number of reasons. I really wanted to get this chapter right as it is a pivotal one in the story. I also had to contend with a big change in my personal life. Anyway got there in the end.
Work has already started on Chapter 10, with the first scene already in the books. Chapter 10 is bigger than I had originally planned it to be but I don't think it will be the same size and complexity of 9. Chapter 11 will be smaller, and Chapter 12 is just planned as a short Epilogue.
I'm really thankful for all the support I have received both financial and with the kind words of encouragement that you guys always offer me. I am so very fortunate to have such a fantastic group of Patreons :)
I have noticed the traffic and sales on Steam, seem to have hit some kind of wall. This is I'm sure partly due to the issues with credit card companies and adult games and also changes in UK law, this is all effecting the visibility of the game in searches. However I think another issue here is the review rating for the game over there, it's only at "Mixed" :( This is largely down to the initial reviews which were dominated by folks who didn't understand what a Kinetic Novel was or hadn't read the description I wrote or what is talked through by Fae at the beginning of the game. Anyway, to my point. I would really appreciate it, if you have bought the game on Steam that you give it an honest review (please be good, please be good :)) over there. That would really help balance out those negative reviews.
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend and thanks again for all the patience you have shown me and support you've given to help me get this important update to the game out, I was so excited for you guys to play it and I hope you weren't disappointed.

Makes me happy to hear that. Certain characters in there you are not supposed to like, and by the comments throughout I have received one person in particular wasn't very appealing :) And there is also an aspect that not everyone got, that was in a lot of ways self biographical. For people being stuck in situations perhaps they don't really want to in but is much easier for them just to accept. Lacking the courage to put themselves out there, be vulnerable and embrace what they really want in life.

That was one of my plans down the road. I think I started with 9 chapters, then some chapters got a little too big so I had to cut them down a little and add more chapters. 12 is the epilogue chapter though, so don't expect a very long one.

I just finished Ch9. I'll be honest. Halfway through I was about to quit playing and uninstall out of frustration. I'm glad I didn't because I was so happy by the end of the episode. Well done!

So, we're getting 12 chapters? Sweet! I thought you we're gonna stop at 11 chapters for some reason, but the number "12" makes me happy. :) So many questions have been answered, and a few more have popped up. At least I know who was wearing the yellow dress. This is getting good. What's that phrase from the movie "Galaxy Quest"? Oh yeah... "I'm just jazzed to be here."
