Our family had friends over and went down to the basement for a few minutes, so Daddy took that as an opportunity to bare my bottom and put me on the stool in timeout, right there in the kitchen. I was mortified and protested “But Daddy someone is going to see!” which didn’t help me one bit! He sat me there and reminded me that just because I didn’t have a sore bottom right now, doesn’t mean I can get away with everything. I needed to be reminded who my bottom belongs to, and that I need to be on my best behavior.
