🕑 Added 2020-09-09 22:36:34 +0000 UTC I have until around the first week of November before my first frost and I am doing some experimentation for this time period. This experiment is cucumbers! I've read a lot about growing cucumbers but I've never grown them. They do not do well in very hot temperatures like we get in Texas in July and August. They also do not do well in very cool temps either. I am hoping that with this fast growing variety, I may be able to get just a few before it gets too chilly here. You may be able to tell but that little yellow bit is actually a blossom and a cucumber could grow there in theory but I think the plant is probably much too small for that so far. Either way, I saw that little blossom and was like "oh my goodness, I have to get these in the ground!!" So I planted three promising cucumber plants along my chain link fence yesterday, I'll keep ya updated on how they do :)
