🕑 Added 2025-03-20 19:07:06 +0000 UTCI don’t know about you, but sometimes it feels like there are only 5 or 6 hours in a day instead of 24… Because the day starts, I blink – and suddenly it’s evening, my hands are covered in threads, there’s dirt under my nails, but I feel that sweet kind of exhaustion.
Today was one of those days where everything happened at once: I almost finished sewing my corset (and I think I’ve reached ninja-level skills in fighting boning), and then I suddenly decided my terrace desperately needed some greenery. So, I went out and bought a few thuja saplings – and I’m not sure who’s happier, me or them. Now I just have to plant them in a way that keeps them alive, because my track record with plants isn’t exactly great…
But you know what my favorite moment was? When I stopped for a second, looked around – at the fabric, the green saplings, the beautiful mess after a productive day – and felt it. That simple, quiet joy of life. Small, ordinary, but so warm.
