A toasty roasty shower followed by a recharging cold rinse❄️💧
I’ve spoken a tid bit about cold water immersion therapy on here (see previous skinny dipping video in the creek). There are so many benefits to it and the easiest, most accessible way to practice it is in your shower. I’m not perfect and slip out of routine, but I do know that it’s a sure thing that I feel like a million bucks afterwards every time even if the process is painful. To help prep the mind and warm the body internally, I do a short breathing exercise beforehand.
If you’re interested in trying it out for yourself, I recommend downloading the Wim Hoff app. It helps you track your cold showers and includes guided breathing technique.
Remember, the cold is your teacher ;)
