I’m in love with my new tattoo!! It’s perfect for me in several ways! One day, I want to get an koi pond, since I love fish keeping and find it therapeutic. Avatar the Last Airbender is also my favorite show of all time. I love the incorporation of yin and yang into the lore of the ocean and moon spirits. This tattoo serves as a reminder for me that the waxing and waning of the moon is a ceaseless cycle like the push and pull of the tide that accompanies it.
Eventually I want to get a full half sleeve on my forearm. I would like to keep my animal theme going too. Next time, I’ll probably get a cute and artistic siamese tattoo, to commemorate my cat Yoyo. I don’t intend to be heavily tatted all over but I have been wanting a half sleeve for a long time. I like the contrast of my mostly bare body and heavily tatted arm
