Who remembers my fascination with the guitar? It's not hard to see that I've been too busy lately and hardly ever pick it up. And then it hit me. That we will always find time for our favorite thing, because the soul demands it. Is playing guitar and singing not my true desire? It turns out it is. In my attempts to separate my true desires from the imposed ones, I realized that playing the guitar is my ego's desire, not my soul's. I imagined looking #pretty with it, catching rapturous glances and compliments, rather than my enjoyment of the process. I wonder how many other imposed desires I have?
