🕑 Added 2020-09-19 05:31:26 +0000 UTC Honestly blown away by the incredible kindness you all showed to me today. This move has been an absolute nightmare and it’s so comforting knowing how many of you care.... read on for details of what’s going on: I moved in to this house 7 months ago and it was a nightmare from the start. I was lied to about what work needed to be done on the house and the day I was supposed to move it, the house was an actual construction zone. So from the start, I had to deal with people not respecting my personal space and as a single woman, it’s terrifying dealing with strange men climbing on my roof in the middle of the night and doing god knows what in my yard until 2:30 am without my consent. I expressed my concerns over and over and over and they were always ignored. So, on top of that, the house is infested with ants, termites, AND crickets and the owner refused to pay for pest control. So... dealing with the bugs and the grand finale of MY FUCKING ROOF being replaced in my final week here and it’s been terrible. All the old roof shingles were shoved off the top of the house crushing my personal belongings and covering everything in filth and the daily pounding has been driving me to tears constantly. So.., that’s what’s happening and that’s why I’m sad.. BUT... I get to leave this nightmare in 5 FUCKING DAYS!!!! I’m so excited to get out and in the meantime, I’m endlessly grateful for your support and patience 💕
