Morning โ๏ธ body aches and chills have subsided I am a-okay ๐..
🕑 Added 2021-04-11 12:22:18 +0000 UTC Morning โ๏ธ body aches and chills have subsided I am a-okay ๐๐ฝ Hereโs a little self reflection... One look back at the version of Claire Iโve evolved from. This shoot is so significant to me because itโs the last shoot I did before not only shaving my head, but starting my sleeve on my right arm and adding a tattoo to my face/skull. The contrast is extreme if you only know me on the outside at face value. But, if you know me well, youโll know that what Iโm doing now has never been so significant or absolutely true to myself. Now, when I sit and look at these photos, I smile so fondly. I LOVE the Claire that carried me this far. I love that this photoshoot took place in my old neighborhood, where I owned a house for seven years. I love that after this shoot, I drove past my old house, and stopped and looked at it. That place that I called home. Reflected on how everything had changed. And...I felt peace. I felt okay. For once I didnโt start crying instantly. For the first time in years my gut wasnโt flipping. I was okay. Life...you never know where itโs going to take you. No matter how hard you plan. No matter how hard you try. No matter how perfect you try to make it. Let life do itโs thing. Donโt resist. When I drove away from the house I called my first home, I finally felt like...hey, this is okay. Youโve made it through all of this. And youโve still got so much time left, and so much more to do. Keep going my loves. It does get better. ๐ค
