I have been sitting on my ideas and longing for past creativity to flow through my pores again. the spring is when that happens! I know because I feel her in short, sweet bursts as the weather warms up. whenever she hits me, I thank her for blessing me with her presence. and right before she leaves me I tell her, usually out loud, how I can’t wait to feel her again. the relationship I have with my creativity truly feels like a hot, fleeting romance sometimes ♥️🌶 also letting go of the narratives I’ve been telling myself around my illness. I am reading the book The War of Art by Steven Pressfield and he opened my eyes to how I’ve been using the story of my autoimmunity as resistance to doing the work. I’m letting this go today 🌻
