But this goes back to my upbringing and the beliefs instilled in me. ๐ญ Then throughout the years, I was the only one home when my mother and father both had major surgeries, dad had a massive heart attack, and last year my mom was touch and go for a few months in the hospital with a stomach issue. Through that time I learned more about my mental health struggles, how I unhealthfully coped, and racked up debt. I lost my job, declared bankruptcy, etc. ๐ญ I'm finally out of the bankruptcy - I paid it all back. But my credit score is terrible. I can't get a loan or a credit card... unless it's a secured card. But until after my surgery, I can't even do that. I have NO savings, no furniture, no dishes. I'll literally be just like an 18 year old starting out when I move... only worse because I'm 34, have a good job, and know better. I just have to build up the savings and such. ๐ญ I can't ask family for help in paying for things because those who might help... have no money. Those who won't help believe that you should do things yourself, and if you can't, they belittle you and never let you forget. So I'm on my own... trying to save what I can from my normal 9-7 job and trying to earn here. ๐ญ So while I was originally going to move between January - March 2024... that's now pushed back because I need to have the surgery first. ๐ญ Also, I've got 1 dog in taking with me, that's mine. So I need to figure out how to register her as an emotional support animal... which I'm sure also costs money ๐คฆโโ๏ธ but she's my baby. She has epilepsy too... and I just don't trust anyone else to care for her.
