Being on vacation for a few weeks felt fantastic and was necessary to get me back on my groove, but there's truly something about wearing the uniform that makes me feel like myself.. it's hard to explain. I feel like being a nurse is part of my identity. It really makes me happy to assume that role for others, and to be a reassuring figure for new grads this year. I love being a nurse and would never change that for anything in the world. Even if it's hard sometimes and a lot of change that needs to happen still, I fucking love my job!
