Finally! I'm done drawing the new areas!!!It really was a lot. It would be one thing if I only had to draw a bunch of objects and backgrounds from a list, but you have to also actually come up with that list. The reason this took so long is that I also had to make sure I knew what story events I wanted, to figure out what each map was going to look like, to create puzzle systems, secrets and interactable objects and their effect, to know when and how to introduce the various game mechanics, ...

Hoo!I was pretty tired of drawing new areas by the end of last month, so I wasn't sure whether I should do something else or not. I decided to push through and keep at it, and it turns out that was a great decision! I was able to finish the 2 main areas I needed to draw with a week left to spare, which I spent on smaller game locations. I'm really happy with this ^^This means there isn't a whole lot left to draw, so if everything goes well I should be done with every area of the next...

Actual short devlog this time!It took some effort, but I was able to finish what I wanted to do this month just in time! I don't have a whole lot to say about it since it was all drawing new areas, other than the most complex areas are now taken care of!There is still more area drawing to do, I'm expecting it to take about... a month and a half to be done, more or less. However since that's all I've been doing for a while now there is a chance I'll switch to something else fo...

So! I mostly drew new area objects this month, so this is going to be a pretty short devlog since I don't want to reveal any of that. However I say mostly, because right after I was done with one of these new areas, my tablet basially stopped working, and I had to get a new one. It was a good run, I think my old tablet was a bit over 5 years old now. The new one is good, but since I was unable to draw for a few days, I decided to improve some code here and there and ended making some changes...

Devlog #073: Design
As the title suggests, it's been all design related stuff this month! The first thing I did was work on the story. As mentionned in the previous devlog I already knew the main story beats, but I made sure everything made sense, improved a lot of parts and how everything comes together, when and how new game mechanics are introduced, when and how new character are introduced, all this stuff. I now have a very precise and interesting version of the events that will occur in the next demo.Once I...
Kobold + Monstergirl poll #13 is on!
And finally, here is the Kobold! Her modifiers were Big butt, Clumsy and Cute maid.I expected her to be easy to draw since I knew exactly what her pose was going to be like, but she gave me unexpected trouble. I usually don't design each part of the outfit separately, but I had to do so for her maid dress. I'm very happy with how she came out though! I'd say she's among the cutest girls in BEW.She's also the last girl to be revealed until the next demo comes out! As I said be...
