I can really only be me

I really am starting to understand that this whole comic thing is only gonna work if I'm being me. Sounds easy but it's really hard being just me all the time. I love people and I want them to love me but I'm starting to understand that being myself won't always be popular but I built my art on my genuine feelings and that will be the only way this keeps growing. First piece since getting back from vacation so I felt a little off to try and get back to KARMAWISH after nearly a month but I think the result is good. I'm really playing with mixing the line work into the piece without letting them blend completely into the lighting and shading. I like letting the linework pull some weight but I'm not quite sure about how to balance that out with the detailed lighting I like to apply. I'll get there. I have a tangible goal at least.

Anyhow, these pages are gonna be a little weird for a bit cause I changed tablets recently, but they stabilize eventually. Finally, we are starting to get to the good stuff, though!
